he is suppose to come off IR this extended week and we have just claimed Detroit Lions Ty Johnson to add with La'Mical Perine, Kalen Ballage and the old guy Frank Gore where we don't even use anyone outside Gore in all the games Bell was on IR for...

there is one team that don't know if @butterscotch would be happy about but adding Bell to the Arizona Cardinals would do well to give them a featured guy to go along with their third down back Kenyon Drake... they have two others on the roster one being a rookie but to go along with Kyle Murray and the passing attack they have established would make the NFC West that much more of a competition division...

there are two other teams that would want to make a run for him via trade but believe the Cardinals make the most sense for both the Jets and Bell...

Bell doesn't have top tier value, thanks to Gase and his ridiculous game plan but he still could garner a third round & fifth conditional pick which could elevate to a fourth...

Yes of course please do so. They’ll probably only get a 5th and 6th rounder for but whatever, do it please! They going 0-16 with or without him, so what damn difference does it make!

This comes up a lot, but the Jets are the only team prepared to pay his salary. We might be better off seeing out his contract and releasing him. I would leave him on IR until our starting tackles are back, rather than rushing the hamstring let's try one more time to see if he can cut it behind a full-strength line.

If the Jets do trade him they eat this years salary and in his contract the final 2 years have little to no guarantees in it making it open to be restructured with any team he is moved too...

the new team would only have $500 K salary minus the 4 games already paid so maybe $375 K for 12 games this year...

last two years $4 M gtd can be restructured total salary $26 M trust me new team would have the upper hand...

I doubt a RB that has clearly lost a step and needs a specific type of OL coming off a hamstring injury will generate much interest.
