This makes me smile because it tweaks Rodgers, but I wish we had traded for him.
makes next year game more winnable
i watched Total Access last night, and they said this deal was in the mix while Rodgers and his deal was being worked out...Rodgers knew about Adams not being able to be signed.
you're right... imo, that means he really doesn't care about winning unless it's when it's easy!! he is only loyal to himself.
All they need now is 3-5 offensive linemen, 2-3 wrs and a defense, and they will be in the mix.

Void years are a ridiculous way to circumvent the salary cap
It always catches up to you .
they are trying to win in the next two maybe three years plus the cap should steadily go up so it won't hurt them long term.
especially if they re-sign him they will be able to reduce those void $$$ by giving him a hefty signing bonus limiting his cap charge but the best part I believe they will cut him after next season...
Eventually the Browns will be in Cap hell and will be having a fire sale.
