Update -- Robby Anderson's attorney said the warrant for his client has been lifted

Once again, New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has caught trouble in South Florida.

According to multiple sources, an arrest warrant has been issued for Anderson.

This all stems from a driving arrest back in January.

Anderson or an attorney was supposed to appear in court on Tuesday. However, that didn't happen.

Anderson had previously been charged with harming a public servant and aggravated fleeing police, but those charges were dismissed. A lesser charge was later issued to Anderson for reckless driving, which was scheduled to be addressed in court on Tuesday.

Last year, Anderson was arrested at a Miami music festival. That trial is set for August.

Anderson enters his third season with the Jets. He had 63 catches for 941 yards and 7 touchdowns last year.

Being a jerk at a concert and facing trial for that, driving 100+ in a 45 mph and then telling the officer he was going to find his wife and f*** her. And now failure to appear.

I’m running out of patience with this guy. He’s lucky he’s got Mr. Easy Going Christopher Johnson in his corner. He’ll probably be the last important person in his corner if this nonsense continues.

Seems it was a clerical error on the clerk of courts part in broward county.
No summons for the court date was issued. Likely a mix up from the transfer from felony court to traffic court.

Robby Anderson's attorney said the warrant for his client has been lifted.

Ed O'Donnell said the warrant was a clerical error by the court, which failed to notify O'Donnell and his client about a hearing. A new court date has been set for July 19. All felony charges stemming from Anderson's January arrest have been dropped, but he is still facing a misdemeanor reckless driving charge.
