This was a mistake . That guy was a real QB away from returning the Broncos to prominence. His defense and running game was leading that team’s resurgence.

I doubt Saleh is ready to move on from Ulbrich, but perhaps as a senior consultant? I don't even know if Fangio is a scheme fit for what Saleh is trying to do, but another set of eye/ears always helps. My guess is that he will be a DC somewhere next year.

I’m guessing this was directed at me. I reserve the right to be critical of anyone I think who deserves it. I’ll say it again, perhaps a bit more clearly this time - Elway did a miserable job of finding a young QB. Can you argue that?

I agree. He's had bad luck finding a QB but he's responsible for 3 Denver Championships. All in my lifetime too. I wish we had an Elway.
