Was Super bowl three a trap game?

It trapped me into becoming a fan that believed the Jets would be a real team for many years. I thought we would be at least the top dog in NY. There was no follow up wave from that game....sad to say.....Now for the Cardinals.......there never has been any wave.

We will never do what NE has done in the next 100 years but a period of ten years with a couple of SB's would be nice.

You know, I was thinking about this recently. This is one of the few seasons in my 48 years that has ever, ever exceeded my expectations. And though an optimist, I am usually not a "we're going to the Super Bowl" fan.
