Sorry fellas, i just couldnt wait until monday to get this ball rolling. I hate the fact i dont get to watch our awesome team today. but..............
This bye week is huge all around: Players getting healthier, Sheldon coming back... and coaches fixing up some issues such as Devin/Fitz timing. Washington better get some extra sleep, The Jets will be a tremendous force once we hit the field next Sunday.
New York will be coming off a hot start at 3-1. The team has great momentum on their side. Some would have rathered us at 4-0, but sometimes the old adage of "you learn more from losses" definitely comes into effect at the current record we have. The team was living on cloud 9 against an average team vs Philly. We fell on our face.
IMHO, that helped us get back on track and demolish Miami.
The focus is now on the Washington Redskins. A QB that can be had. Their O-Line can be dominated by ours the moment the whistle blows, especially with Sheldon coming back. Kirk Cousins will have a long day fellas.
Our WR's will also be at full strength as we get Chris Owusu back, Decker should be 100% and the timing of Smith's speed with Fitz should be better with their extra time off practicing with each other.
I'am sorry folks, i just don't see the Jets losing this one. I feel Todd Bowles isn't a coach like his predecessor here who also took a week off from football. I feel this coach studied & will continue to study the hell out of the Redskins and will implement a demonic game plan against them. He continues to place our record in perspective. We're 3-1 which means nothing at this point, there's plenty of work to do. Bowles will have the Jets ready for the Redskins.. Setting up a classic on the 25th @ Foxboro.
Lets take care of business first with Washington.... T-Minus 7 days!
