I am more convinced now than ever that Hack is a bust and it proves that Mac is a SFB when it comes to selecting QB's.
well, at least we're going to get a better idea of what the kid is, or isn't, very soon..

It's unfortunate, but I can't help but think where there's smoke, there's most normally fire? I haven't anything encouraging from Hack. NOTHING. sure you get every now and then the CS speaking well of him, but never really touching on his improved play? Last I knew his accuracy was still off the charts terrible? These are not good signs.
If Mac were telling the truth, he'd say something like we know Petty and Hack are probably never going to be anything in this league. But we must go through the motions of giving them a chance in real live games. This team is going to be terrible in 2017 anyway, so why not give them a chance in a terrible year all around. The silver lining is we'll be in a perfect spot to select a top notch QB in 2018............
Absolutely. And that's what I want. If Hack swims, great. No need. If he sinks, he sets the Jets up for Sam or one of the Joshes.
I'm curious to see what sort of impact that the QB coach Bates has on Hackenberg. Bates certainly has a kid with all of the tangibles (prototypical size and arm) and intangibles (smarts, attitude and work ethic) that is completely worth developing. Wished Bates had him all last year.
I'm really hoping Hack has it. But my Jet hopes have been destroyed to many times.
