Thanks again TonyFtLand - you keep illustrating my point. The best part is you are so ignorant you dont even realize the mockery you are making of yourself with this name calling instead of responding to a statistical and logical argument with statistics and logic of your own. Please keep it coming! I delight in the idea of the entire forum potentially seeing you for what you are. Or you can choose to take the high road and end the name calling. Up to you either way I am green as can be =)

QUOTE=forevergreen

"Who developed and progressed that wouldnt of otherwise?

Really at the end of the day the only guys on offense that have developed are anderson and McGuire....Anderson was on his way from last season, and McGuire might have had more opportunities to run with a rookie. Other than that you have to look to darren lee on defense which has nothing to do with QB and the jury is still out on him anyway. There is no other player development this season."
Please show me one statistic in your Quote. Nothing factual either.
The only fact is that there are multiple players who have developed this season on both the offense and the Defense.
This team is still lacking talent, has no game changer on Offense or Defense but there has been improvement.

I understand your point, however - do you think this stuff is handled like that on the Pats? Good teams dont have these ongoing issues with personnel.

Well, it's funny you should mention that? I saw a recent program on Showtime about Lawrence Taylor called LT: The life and times. It actually Bill Bellichick talking about LT in that documentary. BB was Parcells DC with the Giants. BB talked about how angry Bellichick would get about LT walking in late to meetings. That Bellichick didn't think it was fair to the others. That it wasn't the kind of example he wanted on full display for the younger players.

Yet, LT was a student of the game. He was actually very intelligent and he knew X's and O's as well as any coach apparently? Whenever, Bellichick called him out for sleeping during meetings or whatever, LT would get right up and explain the defensive strategy that Bellichick laid out with perfect detail. Bellichick went on to say that really compounded problems to some respects? Bellichick pretty much knew discipline wouldn't matter with LT, He would do things his way no matter what. But he slao knew he'd be a fool if he opted to send him home or suspend him games because not having LT on the field would be foolish. It was a tough situation.

So good teams do have these problems, However, we are talking about a rather unique situation with possibly the very best defensive player to have ever played the game..............

Did anyone else count how many 12 man penalties we had in the game today? Even better question - name a game which didnt have a coaching error (time outs, penalties, conservative at the wrong time....) this past year?

Well, in reference to Toilet, you and I are probably in lock step? I think the guy sucks as HC. If that isn't obvious after 3 seasons then either those fans of him are having selective memory or they are just dingbats? He's terrible as a HC and I really would love to see him gone.............
