I'm on the Jets 101 list and press "mark this channel read." Instead of doing that, I'm jumped to the front page. Return to Jets 101, many posts not marked as read. Press the "mark this channel read" again, and again I am jumped to the front page.

Hey - thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just tried it and it worked for me. I'm using a chrome browser. Which one are you using so I can try it on that one?

I am also using chrome. But I am using the Adblock plus Ublock extension.

OK. Problem solved. Simply changed to using uBlock Adblock Plus (sounds the same as the extension I mentioned previously, but it is not), and the problem cleared up. Sorry for the trouble.
