Week 2 Game Thread: NY Jets @ Buffalo Bills

Sack, last week you wondered out loud how the Patriots always seem to win games they should lose. The truth is, and you very rarely hear this discussed by the so-called experts, most NFL Games are not won, but lost. The talent in this league is so close that often times its a teams self-inflicted wounds that gets them beat. Thats what separates the Pats from the Jets, BB knows most games in the NFL are lost, not won, and he emphasizes NOT doing anything stupid or missing opportunities when the play is there to be made.

Yet Belichick himself makes bad calls that have cost his team big games. He mismanaged the game in Denver last year. He completely mismanaged a big game to the Colts a few years back. There have been big spots where he has lost games for his team.

I understand your general point, but the example is not necessarily apt.

Statistically speaking, this game is no contest. The Jets offense is running roughshod over Buffalo..........

The first downs are stunning. Just an incredible stat right now. Which is why the Jets should be destroying the Bills right now.

Bad secondary play and a brutal turnover (which by the way, the Jets cannot seem to ever win the turnover battle against the Bills) has been killer.

JUST ONE TIME I would like to see some killer instinct from this team with the lousy Bills.

We are so much better than this team, its not even close, yet we keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
