Sucks that they have a 24-0 lead when he exits. If the game was closer Miami would have a great chance to win, but the choking dogs got blown out of the building in the first quarter.

Yep, if they didn't start this game with their tails between their legs, they would have won this game when Garoppolo went out. All they had to do was keep it without two TD's and they win the game. All they had to do was not get blown out of the building in the first quarter. So excuse me if I don't give a spit about Tannehill's gaudy stats after they pissed the game away in the first quarter. Its a disgrace that they had no chance to win after Jimmy G went out.

HYATT™ sincerely hopes he looks the part so this hokum about Brady being the "best ever" can FINALLY be put into the grave where it belongs.
Shight, T.J. Rubley would have been a great QB in Hoodie's systems - plural, 'cuz the guy changes it from week to week, not just season to season.
Brady is and has always been just another product of Hoodie's genius - ANY half-arsed QB would have been just as good and many would have done significantly better there.

Gotta give it to the Fins, they made a game out of that debacle. Down 24-0, they actually made a game of it and almost tied it at the end.

But Tannehill is still way overvalued by that front office. They're stuck with him and that contract. I cannot wait to squish the Fish twice this season.

If this happens to any other team, they are up 7, 10, at most 14 when it happens, and they promptly lose the game.

But when stuff like this happens to the Pats, they have an insurmountable lead when their QB goes out.

People used to ask HYATT™ the same question when he was declaring Scrabble (Asomugha) to NOT be a shut down CB, way back in 2008.
Well, what did history teach us?
Scrabble was VASTLY over-hyped by the ESPN noise machine - because it's good salesmanship to declare players "best ever" and "Blue Chip" etc.
He was just an ordinary NFL CB and sometimes not even that much.
HYATT™ dug under the numbers and found the truth, and HYATT™ is telling you all - has been for some time - that Brady is nothing but a figment of Hoodie's genius.
Put him on ANY other team and you wouldn't even know his name - because he'd have been out of this league a long time ago.

You forgot one category of fan - the ones who believe every phuqueing thing ESPN tells them.

Now they are saying Jimmy G will miss Thursday nights game with Houston, but might be back for the forth game vs Buffalo. Its a sprained AC Joint, sounds like what Petty has, so I'm not sure if thats wishful thinking for the Pats, it takes more than two weeks to recover from a shoulder sprain, but thats what they are saying for whatever its worth.

We need to hope to God that Petty or Hack emerges as a franchise QB, because the Pats may have found theirs.

Never ever going to happen as long as the Jets make their priority playing 35 year old journeymen. You just don't draft QBs and not play them. The first half of this year should have been Geno's final audition and if he failed the last 8 games should have been Petty's. The Pats are going to dominate the division as long as Belichek is the coach because he understands QBs don't come by accident--you develop them. But we are stuck with Fitz this year and apparently next year be damned. I don't ever want to hear anyone say the Patriots are lucky. They may be scumbags but they are smart. They don't leave developing a QB to chance. I never questioned that Fitz might be better for the Jets this year. I just questioned the shortsightedness that going with Fitzpatrick means. Winning 10 games this year and 6 next year is meaningless. I would rather win 6 this year and then 8 and then be a perennial winner.[/QUOTE]

Of course none of what Wentz is doing means Goff will not be a franchise QB, but right now this kid looks pretty special and Goff can't get on the field. I guarantee you Eagles fans are feeling great about the guy who slid to them at #2

Wentz has been impressive for a rookie. Looks like the Eagles found something there. But I don't read into the Goff situation at all. They're taking a different approach at getting him ready. There are merits to that approach, regardless of the draft status.

So, here we are in Week 3, NE starting ANOTHER n00bie QB, against one of the top 3 defenses in the NFL (Houston), and Brissett has already put up 10 points in the 1st quarter.

You're right. Brady being a 4 time SB Champion, 3 time SB MVP, 2 time NFL MVP, and 11 time Pro Bowl QB is just a product of Belichick's system. Any average Joe could've done that under Hoodie.

Talking about week 2, did anyone else watch the Bengals-Steelers game? I could have sworn I saw a penalty in the endzone and the ball was spotted on the 2 instead of the 1. But no one commented on it, not the announcers or anyplace I have looked on the internet. BTE, the Bengals could not score a TD after the penalty.
