It was awful. Three games, including two of their tougher games, and in both of those "tough" games, the other team just totally plays terribly.
Not outcoached. Belichick did outcoach O'Brien on some level, but Belichick isn't a genius because the Texans coughed up the ball on kickoff after kickoff. Does anyone think Belichick is the only guy who tells his players not to fumble?
Belichick should get credit for both the defense pinning back the Texans all night, and for an offensive scheme that limited Brissett's ability to lose the game. But the breaks were all a combination of terrible Houston play and bad luck. Hell, even when the Pats put it on the turf, it bounced right to one of their own guys.
My answer to this would have to be yes, IF there was a point for us, as there was for Pats fans, where they got to win a Super Bowl BEFORE any of this was known. Even if after the fact, we found out it was tainted, the joy in that moment would be so great and so real, I would have to sign up for it. But I'd rather have someone like Tom Coughlin instead, who won Super Bowls without cheating (although IMO they were SUPER lucky).
