It's Week 4 and we're locked at 1-2 coming back home in which we let one slip away vs a very good Cincinnati ball club in week one.
Our team will be right in front of their beloved fans trying to prove that week 3's performance vs Kansas City was a turning point to the season to stop playing sloppy ball and start being focused on a season filled with hope and optimism.

Seattle will be coming into our house at 2-1. Possibly without their starter Russell Wilson, Leaving Rookie Trevoyne Boykin under center. Though Head Coach Pete Carrol states Wilson is doing much better and should practice Wednesday.

Overall, this one will be a tricky one. If Fitzpatrick can't bounce back, then how will the crowd respond to Geno Smith being called off the bench? It can be a turning point for Geno as well. Right in front of the same fans who have bashed him day in and day out (me included) to right all the wrongs and showcase to the fan base that he belongs. Or it can turn out worse than playing Fitzpatrick.

Hopefully Coach Bowles shakes things up as well on defense as it sure as hell seems they cant stop no one. Also he has got to place his foot down if players arent playing well. He should stop sending out players onto the pitch just because of their contract. Fitz should have been pulled after the 4rth pick and i'am no way a Geno Fan. If Fitz isnt playing well and there is still time to make a switch, the fans, as much as they also dont like Smith will actually call out for him to be placed into the match.


This game not only is a must win considering who we're facing in Western P.A in week 5, but it can actually be a catalyst in the direction of this football club on either being a success or another 5-11 season.

Actually.....if Fitz plays just ok.....I think we can will this one. Was at KC for the debacle......and a few observations:

The OL actually played pretty well and Forte looked good. Fitz was a dumpster fire, and Marshall looked like shit. Decker couldn't get any separation and Q looked good, as did Robbie Anderson. Fitz was a foot or so behind on nearly every throw, and his accuracy was bad
The killer play was Marshall's fumble on the KO. It put us two TD's down and Gailey lost patience and threw the game plan out the window

Defensively, I thought we looked petty damn good. DL played well, LB's were good (Darron Lee especially) and Revis played well. Pryor looked like shit, but the D actually only gave up 10 points ..... and 7 of that came on a short field. If we can just clean up the stupidity, this team can compete with anyone. After 3 games..... I really think we are better than Cincy, and definitely better than KC, Yet we lost to both due to lack of concentration. Another poster mentioned this and I think its accurate...... the KC game was poor as far as the play calling. Gailey is getting too cute in the red zone , and needs to use the run game more. Don't give a damn about stat lines for Decker, Marshall or Fitz..... just score. Wen Fitz is off.....Gailey needs to turn to high percentage passing mixed in with the run... and he didn't do that

I think we need to get Anderson involved more.. He will open it up for Marshall, Decker and Enunw.. KC had no concern for the deep ball. Anderson should have had a TD if Fitz hits him in stride.... But enough plays like that and Marshall, Enunwa and Decker will feast... And jesus if ASJ gets it together than it could be sick running Anderson deep down the sideline or a deep post with ASJ running through the seam..... And using Forte properly, like the Buf game, really will make things tough on any Defense

We can't afford to let Marshall return kickoffs and fumble. We needs some stability during the game.

Like your take on the game, you always get a different " feel" for the game when in attendance .

Actually

There were a surprising amount of Jet fans in attendance. I was sitting near a dozen of so fans wearing green. The KC fans were pretty cool (although one drunk gal told me to go @#$% myself) and even let us tailgate with them. Overall, with exception of the outcome....pretty good experience in a cool stadium. Afterwards, my girlfriend and I met up by chance with some jet fans at a BBQ joint in town. Nice guys and very knowledgeable fans..... jet fans are the best.......

Yes.

I'm usually not too reactionary to a single bad peformance, and try to give all players the benefit of the doubt, but I've seen enough from Jalin Marshall to know that he cannot be trusted. He has some impressive skills, but his ball handling has been too suspect. Lost among all the criticism that Fitzpatrick justifiably received was the costly fumble on that KO for a return 6.

That was really the turning point for me. We looked finished when that happened. On the road, down 17-3, you're in deep trouble.

I want to see more Robbie Anderson anyway.

Just a hunch. Yes.

Read an article today about his rehab. They're with him around the clock getting him ready. They know they're screwed on the road with no Wilson. He had a crazy workout/conditioning regiment all year long. He does a ton of injury prevention with his trainers because of his style of play.

This is exactly how RGIII tore his ACL, which started his downward spiral.

At first he had an MCL sprain, which requires two to three weeks to properly heal, but he lobbied to play and the Redskins rushed him back because it was a playoff game I believe, and he tore his ACL in that game, which is not unusual because the area is vulnerable and weak when you have a sprained MCL and you don't allow it to heal properly.

I don't trust him period but hopefully he has a better game then last week. I believe he will, can't see him stinking it up that bad two weeks in a row. Doesn't mean we'll win ofcourse but betters our chances tremendously.
