Zero impact by Wilkerson, Williams or Richardson so absolutely it needs to be addressed
4th & 10 and we complete a pass and lose 2 yards. Stellar play calling.
Didn't think I would say this at this point in the season, but the coaching particularly on the defensive side of the ball is horrendous. Bowles appears to be a deer in the headlights, with no adjustments to generate pressure, fix the back end, etc.. Has he lost the lockerroom already?
OK. So who would the upgrades be?
And which should the Jets replace? Just one? Two? Or get rid of all three?
Bench Fitz immediately. This team has zero shot for many reasons and he is one of the main ones. Time for youth.
Keep the cheap pieces and rebuild through the draft like everyone else does. Pittsburgh looked like world beaters in Fitz face the entire game and who's on their front four????
Wilk got his money and has been quiet since game 1. Williams is young and Richardson is still on his rookie contract, so you dump the expensive book-end who isn't making an impact first
He wasn't the problem today but I agree it's time to see what else is on the roster because we aren't making the playoffs and we definitely aren't resigning Fitz, so move on and see what else we have

I put up a thread earlier this week about Bowles and the issues I have with him... Honestly thought maybe he needs to be fired cause he looks lost...
Later in the week I said maybe I was overreacting on the firing of Bowles..
After today, he's gotta go he is doing nothing to change how this D plays and it is under performing.
I thought they settled down a little bit after the bug Coates TD but the poor O play and the lack of a real stop in the 2nd half was a nightmare. Bowles not going for it on 4th and 2 with 7:45 left at clse to mid field was a huge mistake as was the challenge on the drive before when the score was still 17-13... his coaching is not improving he is digressing badly..
Fitz earned a reasonable chance to follow up last season, but I think we need to spark this offense.

You try to trade him, get what you can for him and build with youth
If he's such a bum, I can't imagine you can get anything for him. Maybe a seventh.
