Though i just have this belief that Fitz hopefully can get us to 5-5. It gives Bryce and Hack 4 more weeks to get some more film study and preparations down pact before actually being called upon.

Also, who knows, if we're right in the thick of things that when we do acually give one of these guys a shot, they'd be the exact spark we need to get over the hump and into the playoffs?

Fitz gets us to 5-5, then gets his leg rolled on awkwardly by a defensive player, ending his season. Then Bryce Petty gets the call, and leads the Jets to a 9-7 finish, just missing the playoffs, but we've found our future QB, we don't have to give Fitz an extension, and we get a mid first round draft pick based on our record.

Everyone's happy. And the future looks bright.

Sure, I'll enjoy the win. I am just thinking there would be way too many fans taking way too much away from a convincing win against the Browns.

Like I said, the real story is the Jets CANNOT beat winning teams. In other words, they are the very same team as they were last season. They have not improved and ultimately given the talent on the team, this falls on the coaching staff.

I want the Jets to get better and better each and every season until they win the SB. I do not believe that is too much to ask for any fan. Todd Bowles does not seem to be the guy that can do that for the fan base........So sure, enjoy the win, just remember that the long term view is not as great as the euphoria you and I will be feeling after a Jets win.........

Or maybe the players are just not winners. Marshall has never seen a playoff game. Neither has Fitz. Neither has our DL. Talent doesn't always equate to being a winner. Some of it falls on CS and some falls on the talent not being as talented as people think.

Nice post gmf! Yes I'm very concerned about this Browns game. Brown are desperate team seeking a win & have played good teams & lost very close games. If our Jets comes in not playing their best & 2 of their stars(Wilk-Revis) not giving it all, Jets can lose this game. I'm already ashamed of Jets record & the beat down by Cards & inflicting big hits on our Jets at the end of the game after running up the score. That was awful & total disrespect of Jets Players & Bowles by Cards & I dont want to see Browns looking at Cards game & think thats the way to play our Jets to bring them down. Jets did quit in that game, not all players but enough. Not since Sanchez & Jets vs 49ers have I seen Jets quit until Cards game. Jets beat the Browns, take care of business & show Jets can play hard with heart even "if" we are losing.
