Actually Jeremy Kerley is a very good receiver. But my question is..... WHY was he so underutilized in 2015? I don't think anyone ever knew the reason why Chan Gailey never used him? Did he somehow piss off Chan Gailey and end up in Toilets dog house? Anyway, the QB rarely if ever looked his way in 2015. I'll be happy to see how he can improve our ST and hopefully Morton actually wants to use him?
gailey likes small WRs almost as much as TEs..
It just points out to the ineffectiveness of the coaching staff that year. Kerley is productive but they couldn't find a way to get him involved all because he's short. Although short, Kerley is twice the player Kenbrell Thompkins is but we were using Thompkins more. SMH. Kerley did well in San Fran

Thank god, Gailey is out now? But we'll find out very soon if the Jets actually upgraded with Morton? I don't know enough about him, but it's tough to think Morton could possibly be any worse than Gailey was?
I look back on all the bad OC's the Jets have had..... Paul Hackett, Brian Schottenheimer.........But even those at least utilized all the players on offense? Chan Gailey would completely ignore bread and butter of every offense and discriminate against guys because their not big?
LOLz whatever gailey's reasoning was, you're right about it taking him a nanosecond to make up his mind.. the end..

WOW. I just looked up his career stats and he's coming off his very best year as a pro? 64 Receptions for 667 yards for the 49ers of all teams last season? This offense SHOULD be able to use him this season. If he could catch 64 passes when Colin Kaepernick was throwing him the ball then I am convinced he can do better with a better QB. McCown and Petty are both better IMO than Colin Kaepernick?

According to Bowels they played outside and his role didn't fit the scheme. Otherwise, I thought he was a decent WR/Slot guy that got hosed by the system.

I agree. It's like they are just getting around to forming this team when this roster should have been solidified months ago? This ineptitude that you speak of goes right up through the front office. Why Mac doesn't look like an idiot giving tryouts to how many? players after training camp is over, I will never know......
