Probably wanted too much money or he was going back to bench with AVT coming back. Wish he could have stayed.

Decent depth signing as a guard or tackle but while he has played center he doesn't play it very well. So we still need a center since our current center is a free agent.

We need a starter who is solid, durable and keeps the QB upright.
Depth should come later. Oops, Jets do things in a bizarro way.

It's a depth move. I like him more than Feeney, certainly. While I liked Herbig, I think Schweitzer has more flexibility than either Herbig or Feeney in greater comfort to play C.
