Mims: It wasn't hard to get open. There were other factors to why. Game plan, time for QB, play design. That is not to disrespect anyone. We have great players.

Yes. Even though I don't see it working I believe Sam will be a Jet. Unless of course they get a ridiculous trade offer for him. Unless that happens I see them keeping Sam and drafting 2 of OL RB EDGE with those 1sts. Sucks but that's what it looks like to me. Hopefully I am wrong.

I'm ok with it, if they do. I feel this kid (23 y/o) was shit on by the organization with lack of assets and horrible coaching. I'm betting on him with a tailored and better system, and coaching. Not to mention better assets around him. If it doesn't work, we have at least better surrounding cast and a system the Jets can grow with.

Agreed. They have 2 many holes to trade a slew of picks for 1 guy. Even if Darnold stinks up the joint again they'd have a solid foundation to build with.
