Is how Belichick can even game plan for this game. The guy spends 24/7 planning each week. When he sees the Jets game on the schedule on a long week and on Monday night, he has to have a hard time stopping the laughter. Once he stops laughing, he then has to figure out who to take out of the game. Normally, he takes out the other teams best player. It's a good thing that the NFL gave him a long week to prepare because I bet it took him a full week to decide that the Jets don't even have a best player to remove from the game before he just finally throws a dart at the board.
It's really amazing that he doesn't ever just look past this game, because it can't be fun for him to play a game where he knows he will not face a single challenge
Guys, remember the preseason, when every starting quarterback marched the field as if they were playing against ghosts and then after an easy td, sat on the bench and watched their backup? I remember Brees in particular. It was a joke. Should have fired everyone right then. The excuse is always that teams play vanilla in the preseason. Well if you can't stop the other teams vanilla , how the hell do you stop their real plays?
