Of course nothing we say here has any actual influence, but just to play along in the close season.....I think it is Green Bay's best interest to seek a trade, he is still worth a potential trade to someone. Before they release someone a team may come in and sew him up before he hits free agency. Look if he hits free agency Rodgers is going to go to him and say sign here and probably for less than that one year is worth.
End of the day just looking at a standpoint with Tippmann this would give a solid two players to build with. AVT fits better at guard but is a capable option for either tackle spots. Trade Laken for a third round pick and move on. We are in need of new blood so if we do not go with Bahktiari then we draft Taliese Fuaga from Oregon State. He is my top tackle even though he may be third on the big board.
LT: Taliese Fuaga, Max Mitchell
LG: Alijah Vera-Tucker, Wes Schweitzer
OC: Joe Tippmann, Chris Glaser
RG: Mekhi Becton, Xavier Newman
RT: Carter Warren, Austin Deculus
I am fine with this group, I think they could become special with a full camp together. I am still not sure if AVT will be ready to start the season but between Xavier Newman, Chris Glaser and Wes Scweitzer I think they can platoon that position until AVT returns. Also kick Warren from RT to LG, then put Xavier Newman as starting RG move Becton to RT. Again he thrived there before we needed him at LT.
If we do not go this route and draft Fuaga then guarantee we draft either Marvin Harrison Jr. or Rome Odunze, one of these wide receivers to pair with Garrett Wilson.
Is this the time of year where teams hype a Zach Wilson in the hope that some mutt ahead of them in the draft will take him?Packers have our 2nd round pick this year for Rodgers
And stop listening to reports this time of year this is where there is a lot of shade being thrown out there for other teams to hope someone slides.
No, they love Conklin, Ruckert and Both Yeboah and Kuntz. Expect Uzomah to be cut but who knows. They might sigm a fa, doubt itI saw one draftnik who said the Jets would take the TE at #10 and address tackle through free agency and later in the draft.
@gmf1369 - do you see that happening?

Curious why so many people like this Fuaga kid from Oregon State with Aaron Rodgers as our QB. Do we really see the Jets as a predominantly running offense with Rodgers behind center even with Hall at RB.I think it is Green Bay's best interest to seek a trade, he is still worth a potential trade to someone. I like Fuaga since last year and thought he would be the perfect corner piece. Fuck Rodgers he won't be here for ever we need to worry past him.Curious why so many people like this Fuaga kid from Oregon State with Aaron Rodgers as our QB. Ouch. Bone on bone? That isn't good.I heard he has some bone on bone issues which is what was causing the fluid buildup. Hopefully they do a very thorough exam. But this franchise has a terrible record evaluating injuries and injury risk.
That line does not excite me. I am hesitant about Becton moving inside. And I think that Warren has been solid in relief, but ready to be a starter? Plus, Fuaga is naturally a RT. If this was the line for next season, I would feel not much better than I feel now about the OL.I think it is Green Bay's best interest to seek a trade, he is still worth a potential trade to someone. we need to build a nasty fucking OL that pushes every one around FUCK Rodgers we have Breece and we need to plow the defenses. Fuck we do more screens then anything to get Breece the ball we needs guys that can run down the field without getting gassed. That line does not excite me. I am hesitant about Becton moving inside. I think he would be a perfect fit for a Zack Wilson run offense . He would even be perfect for a Brissett run offense. The problem is this regime is in a win or everyone is fired season and like it or not Rodgers is the QB. We need OTs who excel at pass protection more so than run blocking. Fuaga isn’t bad at pass protection but his forte is run blocking . I won’t hate the pick but I prefer Fashanu or Morgan via a trade down. Fashanu reminds me of Brick Ferguson and Morgan is similar to AVT . That’s my opinion anywaywe need to build a nasty fucking OL that pushes every one around FUCK Rodgers we have Breece and we need to plow the defenses. we have seen some right tackles that converted to left side do well. I think Fuaga will be okay. With his tenacious play style he will prove to be better than you think.
So he would be the perfect fit for an offense that doesn't score points or get first downs? PASS!!I think he would be a perfect fit for a Zack Wilson run offense . That’s one way to look at it. Another way would be that type of player would necessitate taking the ball out of Wilson’s hand and running it with Hall behind a line built to run block .So he would be the perfect fit for an offense that doesn't score points or get first downs? PASS!!
with our 4th round pick take NDSU OLM Jalen Sundell can play Tackle, can play Guard and guess what he can play center versatile offensive lineman someone we need a fucking jack-knifeLook at who is still in the playoffs and tell me that running the ball isn’t important. Even KC has been able to run the ball effectively. I’m on board with drafting the kid from OSU at 10 and maybe trade into late 1 or early two for another WR or OL.
With no second round or 5th round picks, trading back into the first is not going to happen. Especially if we use the 10th pickLook at who is still in the playoffs and tell me that running the ball isn’t important. Even KC has been able to run the ball effectively. I’m on board with drafting the kid from OSU at 10 and maybe trade into late 1 or early two for another WR or OL.
