Since jets82 is bored today and so am I, let's humor the idea of 10 wins.
I have given this a lot of thought since seeing the prediction.
My first thought was the same as my favorite Eagles Album. Hell Freezes over. Best version of Hotel California. Then I figured since belichick rules hell, I doubt he will let it freeze over and help the Jets
Next I thought of global warming. There is a damn good chance that global warming could cause Foxboro to be under water sometime in the future. Then I remembered how belichick could make it snow every time Peyton Manning came to town so I figure he must control the weather too and no way he's letter the state of massachewshits get covered in water. besides brady would just blow up a giant raft and the team could float to safety. then they'd probably end up sharing Met Life with the Giants and us
That's really it. After that I can't come up with any way I see the Jets winning 10 games this year.
I will say this though. Tomorrow is a must win and really so is next week. What we need to see from this team this year to have hope for after belichick retires is a big change in culture and losing will not help that cause. we need to open strong, build team chemistry, win the first 2 games. not get blown out in either cheetah game and split with Dallas/philly to get some positive attitude going and build it for the future. can we do this? I sure as hell hope so but I wouldn't bet on it. Tomorrow is the starting point
If we open up 0-6,1-5, 2-4. this team will fall into the same old Jet stuff and this eason and new regime is doomed.
