What to do at QB

With all the bad press about Hack (true or untrue...who knows??), and Petty, who to be honest, didn't really look very good in his limited opportunity, where are we going with QB. The draft at QB doesn't thrill me. Trubiski reminds me of Sanchez with his limited resume, Kizer I haven't really seen, and Watson looks ok,,,, but I'm not sold. FA options (to me anyways) only include Glennon, Tyrod Taylor (if he hits), or maybe Foles. Personally I think Glennon, or Taylor is the only options to start, then perhaps resign Geno and let Petty and Hack fight it out for #3 Or draft a QB mid rounds, and go FA starter, Petty and let Hack and the draftee fight it out . I really don't want to see Romo or Cutler..... to me that's another Fitzy band aid....

I kind of like Nick Foles or Glennon over Tyrodd.
They're more conventional QBs that have extreme arm talent and the team can build around. Just me, but QBs that scramble too much are prone to injury. Don't want this regime building around a guy who will be on IR by week 7.

As far as QBs for this draft, yes i like Trubisky, but he doesn't blow me out of the water. If we have two 1st rounders some how, then sure i'd take a chance. But as of right now, All i want are play makers on offense Dalvin Cook or Mike Williams. Players that we can build around a Hackenberg, Petty, Glennon or Foles.

If i were to take a chance on a QB in this draft, i'd actually go with Chad Kelly from Ole Miss:

This just sucks. The moment we need a QB and it's clear that we do and are drafting high enough to get one, there aren't any QBs of real praise, intelligence, heart, leadership and talent in the draft. I personally don't know what we do from this point. I'm not sold on Petty, if what their saying about Hack is true then that's not good at all, Geno time to turn the page, Fitzshitty I hope we never see him in a Jets uniform again. The FA pool looks like garage and I'm not interested in some average QB like Taylor or wash outs like Glennon or Foles.

We might actually be ok with Romo for a year or two but I don't want them either. To old and fragile. Cutler may even be good for us a year or two with his arm strength and talent. Only problem is, everything else about him is useless and we'll be at a lose with him. Of course I'm hoping for lighting of a great nature to strike, like Hack wakes up and becomes our guy. Or we draft a late round Dak type of QB to be the future for the next 15-20 years. Only problem is, stuff like that seems to happen once or twice every 15 years or so and it never happens to the Jets.

So where are we left from, I be damned if I know but it ain't looking good. Guess we start with building the oline and skilled offensive players and hopefully a true QB falls in our laps over the next 2-3 years. If it truly isn't Hack!!!
