The Browns are the popular choice because they are loaded on offense and Mayfield was the 2018 AFC OROY.

Also the Jets changed their HC and GM and are generally being portrayed as a team in disarray.

That said, I think the Jets are underrated on offense if they stay healthy.

Barring injuries Anderson, Enunwa, Crowder, Bell and Chris Herndon is plenty of talent at the skill position. Harrison did a credible job when he took over at Center, so I'm keeping an open mind there, and lastly Osemele is a beast and was a huge upgrade at LG.

Nobody can convince me we are not an upper echelon D after we add Q and Polite to compliment Leo, Anderson, Adams, Williamson and Trumaine.

So I think the Jets are going to shock a lot of people in 2019 and win double-digit games, maybe even 11 or 12.

PS. I predict a home win for the Jets over Cleveland in week-two on Monday Night Football.

I voted Darnold for many of the same reasons and I'm a homer. :global (41):

Were all going to vote Darnold, even though some may not truly think he and the Jets will have the best second season. I voted for Darnold but I'm truly on the fence here.

- Mayfield has a plethora of weapons and that might actually work against him because he might have to many Divas that want the ball. However; if that team can work together then Mayfield and those freaking Browns can truly do something special this year.
- Hard to vote for Allen and the Bills until he proves his accuracy has gotten better but he does have better weapons this year.
- Same goes for Jackson and the Ravens as it does for Allen. Plus the Ravens might run the ball so much that Jackson throwing stats won't be impressive anyway. Ravens record may still be pretty decent.
- Rosen is on a shot team without much offensive help, so how can you really think he and the Dolphins has a chance to compete here.
- Then there's Darnold. The team seems to have taken 3-4 steps back with all this GM, Gase, Bell and Mosely talk but that doesn't take away from the talent they've acquired this year. If this team can weather this storm and pull together, Darnold and the Jets has a chance to do something very good things this year and beyond. He came on strong after the injury sit out last year without any real weapons at all really and that is a plus in itself.

So I'm hesitantly voting for Darnold, ALL IN ALL!

I think Sam has a better, still not great, but better, supporting cast this season that will allow him to take that next step. He showed last season that he almost was able to win all by himself so with some help I look to see much improvement. I'm looking forward to this season even though we are still shy a couple of pieces.
