Which of these chumps do we keep for next year?

Our secondary is awful:

Adams, Phillip
Jarrett, Jaiquawn
Landry, Dawan
Lewis, Keith
McDougle, Dexter
Milliner, Dee
Pryor, Calvin
Thomas, Josh
Walls, Darrin
Williams, Marcus
Wilson, Kyle

Which of these guys do you keep? Besides the obvious Dee Milliner, Dexter McDougle and Calvin Pryor I would only keep Marcus Williams who has flashed a bit at times this year. The rest of the can go. I'll drive Kyle Wilson to the airport.

Besides the guys I mentioned above, does anyone else stick out to you guys? I guess these people aren't too bad if they are the fourth and fifth CBs but to have them have significant playing time this year has really cost us more than anything.

In my opinion we need to spend big on a CB this off season, sign two guys. One that's a legit #1 and the other borderline 2/3. We should start the season with Dee competing for the second spot. I am not confident in him remaining healthy for the season. To top it off, I hear that coming back from a torn Achilles tendon is very very tough. Odds are that he will not be the same player that he was (not that we ever saw how good he was).

I have a sneaky feeling Kyle Wilson will still be on the team.

He'll be cheap, Don't expect anything out of either Milliner, off an Achilles injury, which could be death for a CB, plus he wasn't very good before the injury. Or McDougle. guy hasn't played football in 2 years, and had a 5th round grade when they drafted him.

Wilson isn't a very good CB, but he has played the slot reasonably well. Marcus Williams will at least be in camp.

Allen has a decent chance to still be on the team. Hopefully as a S. They really screwed him over trying to put him in as a CB.

I think Jarrett has flashed enough to hang around. He can't cost much.

If Rex goes I don't see any way Landry is sti here.

I suppose Walls can compete for 4th or 5th corner.

Definitely agree with spending money in FA here. One top guy for sure needs to be brought in.

I agree! Perfectly said! It's disappointing how much of a bust that Wilson became. He was rated as one of the top CB's coming into the 2010 draft and was great on special team's for Boise State, however none of that translated to the Jets. As bad as our secondary is, some of these guys will most likely be back. Milliner showed some flashes of being a good cornerback, injuries held him back. I am looking forward to McDougle playing next year and see how Pryor plays next season. Jets have a glaring need when it comes to secondary, Jets may also draft a CB when it comes draft day, of course all depending what they do in free agency and who the general manager is.

Pretty much agree with the consensus. ? on Lewis since he just arrived. Actually it is good that no decisions have to be made for months. Probably better to just wait until.Rex and Thurman are sent to the dustbin along with their four decades old 46 defense and the all out blitz, leave all your defensive backs alone on the island schemes. Hopefully the new HC brings in a DC with some ideas from the 2010s not the 1980s and maybe a few of these guys may have some use...well not Kyle Wilson, but maybe some of the other nos
