that is why I think Ole Miss Jerrion Ealy could be that guy, he is a slightly more physical runner than MC, but also brings versatility as an alternate return specialist. the team likes the Mississippi prospect tree, as we have two from last year one drafted and one priority free agent...I think NY will draft another talented RB in order to pair him alongside of a power back (such as a Javonte Williams type) because he's at his absolute best once featured alongside of a running mate.
Splitting carries with another beast RB will take away from his statistics but yet make him more deadly and more efficient @ the same time.
Moore is also a wingback that runs the ball, that is not on Zach -- lol, they also can use him as a returner again not on Zach. just saying.Moore is in a bit of an unfair spot here; if he lights it up, it's most likely because that is due to Zach lighting it up

If the Jets bolster the Offensive line with one monster player and Becton becomes the player we drafted him to be. Wilson will become Joe Namath and Carter will become Curtis Martin
first year in a new system out of college unless that was his main role would be used as a returner but after the first season they will likely expand his role, but last year his limited usage was due to the injuries and unavailability. we don't know what they have planned for him but with his short area quickness smooth change of direction skills would be an ideal option to do some returns either punt or kickoff or both.Elijah Moore had 0 KR/PR last year (I don't think our coaching staff wants our most promising WR returning kicks) and he only ran the ball 5x last year (but was very good @ it).
I hope our coaching staff utilizes him a lot more this year off of Jet sweeps and WR reversers because with his Playmaking ability with thein his hands he should be receiving no less than 2 rushing opportunities per game (at least 34 rushing attempts next year) and a whole lot more WR screens too.
