He’s had false starts the last two games as well as a couple of drops. But he’s an excellent blocker on outside runs and he’s a go to guy on 3rd downs.

At this point I am sorry to admit that White has only shown that he belongs. His record is 1-2, just like Flacco's, and both contributed to the only losing streak this season. He has the teams support and has given the offense a much needed spark. But until that translates into wins we're stuck in mediocrity. The last two games were against division leaders and it at least proves that we can compete. You know the saying, you are what your record is. And a 500 club is average. Tied for 3rd or 4th depending how one looks at it just doesn't cut it. So let's see how this plays out. Must finish games.

It’s unfortunate that White didn’t have the benefit of Hall at running back and AVT along the OL being the pocket passer he is . His record as the starter vs Wilson’s as the starter speaks for both players but the eye test screams a different story.

I think that was the same protection and the same skill players White wins more but I have been wrong a bunch so what do I know.

Yeah at this point I would much rather watch White, but he is not winning at this point.

Personally I think too much is being put into the QB's W/L records. There is so much that plays into that as a team that you can't single that out as a heavily weighted barometer.

Flacco was a liability out there (just can't move anymore and O-Line couldn't buy him enough time to be effective). Zach escaped a lot of sacks but also couldn't hit his receivers but was getting extreme run support.

Mike has been playing extremely well, but has an OC who seems to fall in love with the passing game and is abandoning the running game way too early.

Personally, watching all 3 play, I still feel Mike White gives us the best chance to win games. He isn't costing us games and quite frankly was put into position the past two games to have to play hero ball to give us a chance to win. He hasn't done anything to cost us games; he isn't making costly mistakes and he is taking his shots when he has them and not costing anything when he misses them.

We need balance as an offense. We need to impose our will in the running game and find ways to get guys touches in position for them to make plays.

No matter who lines up behind center, I've just seen an inability by the OC to call a balanced attack

IMHO Flacco should not be playing anymore. He's a team player and good guy, but........... he made his big money. His skills have diminished and in these his last years in the game he was not as good as Fitz or McCown. Don't these guys realize they are a hit away from looking forward to pudding night at some facility?

Also our offense was designed for Zach Wilson and not a pure pocket passer like Mike White . Our team is well coached, but makes mistakes at the most inopportune times. We are fine for such a young team. We have done better than anyone expected especially with all our injuries. Who could have figured losing all that the Jets have lost this year and be where they are?

I for one won’t complain because as far as I’m concerned these coaches have been masterful.

I don't think it's as simple as "blame or don't blame" the OC.

I think it clear the OC has a blind spot and has some tendencies that he needs to grow out of. He is learning and we are obviously seeing these growing pains.

LaFleur falls in love with the passing game and tends to abandon the running game early (I mean first half of the game unless your 3 scores behind, you just keep attacking and putting points on the board). You can't get 2 scores in one drive and we shouldn't be behaving that way.

Flacco games - Average 51 pass attempts
Zach games - Average 27 pass attempts
Mike games - Average 43 pass attempts

There is a huge disparity there, and we can't say "that is on the players" they aren't calling the plays. Missed plays, yes some is execution, some is (incorrect play calls for the situation). The offense didn't perform poorly against Buffalo (we didn't get points on the board), but we moved the ball. Problem there is (we played into their strengths, we 100% played into their game plan. They kept the ball in front of them the whole game and we were left settling for what we could get).

I'm waiting to see the day that we attack a teams weaknesses! Where we game plan to attack and we do it over and over and over! Yes sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you, but that is situational, it's circumstantial! It's NOT a game plan! We are game planning our way into giving the defense exactly what they want! Let's find a way to attack teams!
