Who do you think will surprise this season on either offense or defense?

I have to objectively vote for Geno here.
Either they don't sign Fitzpatrick or he gets hurt (he does have a history of that) and Geno in his fourth year steps up and surprises everyone. Maybe not Pro Bowl level but certainly not the worst QB since Mike Taliaferro.

This kid has unlimited potential.
Physically he's a beast and he has a terrific size/speed ratio.
He must run good routes too because he consistently gets open.
The only thing holding him back is that HE CAN'T CATCH, no small detail to be sure, but I'm hoping he worked on that in the off season, I'm hoping he caught about a thousand balls off the jugs machine this off season, because the sky is the limit for this kid if he actually catches the ball.

I don't think he'll surprise anyone because he was having a good season last year and that's Calvin Pryor. I think , in his second season with T. Bowles, he is going to expand on last year and blossom into a perennial probowl player. When he went down Vs. NEP in that 1st game the defense took a noticeable dip, IMO.
For some reason, I could see Jace Amaro bouncing back and far exceeding expectations.
The chances are high since many of us have zero expectations for him or Milliner. If either of them walk on the field they have exceeded mine.

This is a make or break year for Enunwa for sure. He drops way too many passes. He could just as sure becom a very important part of this offense or he could just as easily fall out of favor with Chan Gailey - it's all up to Enunwa.

I do not believe anyone will take that next step. You must have a team around you and the Jets roster is sh*t. Mac sucks as a GM and this draft pretty much ut it on full display. With this schedule we have coming this season, this team will be reduced to a laughingstock once again. Proving that once again we have another idiot for a GM that someone from this forum could do a better job building the team.
come on maine, the after glow of extending wilkerson at a reasonable rate (instead of cap hell franchise tagging him) hasn't worn off yet..
i know you can't stand our first pick at 20.. you think he's undersized & will be eaten alive as a result.. can we give him & the rest of mac's 2nd draft until the end of the preseason before we make blanket statements on what we got??

no.. but i say let's pump the brakes on what this draft class is or isn't.. we haven't even gotten to training camp yet.. but i tell you what though, i can realistically see every 2016 draft pick making the 53 man roster!!
that said, mac did just finished extending arguably our best young player on the team without breaking the bank as well..
i'm pumped & i think you're doing yourself a disservice by not allowing yourself to feel good about what mac has already done this off season.....
