Who do you want at 6?

I saw this topic in another forum and thought it would do well here.

I would love to get Winston or Mariota, I was against Mariota because of his skill set. But I also feel that we have to keep drafting QB's until we get it right. So I changed my pick to either of these guys. But I truly believe they dont make it to us and we end up taking a Tackle or Ray.

WVU WR K. White is my #1 WR on the board. The QB prospects are underwhelming although if either were available, I would trade down. We NEVER tradedown. After last yrs, draft debacle, I'm hopeful.

My TOP 5 preferences for the Jets at #6 , in this order:

1. Amari Cooper
2. Kevin White
3. Randy Gregory
4. Dante Fowler Jr.
5. Shane Ray

I'm not particularly high on either of the QB's, so give me one of these WR's or edge rushers.

Well going on the assumption we will be in the market for jason woirlds i say no to the rushers and lb's

I also think we land corners and saftey in fa

so my pick would be sherff. or trade down to like 10 and get a extra 2nd or 3rd rounder

Definitely agree with a wide receiver or a pass rusher as a possible target depending on how the board shakes out. I would love a trade down a few spots if the board fell the right way as well. They definitely need to address the Oline as well, but agree as well that I can't see taking anyone of those guys at 6.

If we could trade down with say Eagles and exchange 1st, 2nd, 4th & next years 2nd & 3rd....the way Chip is jones in for MM maybe get a couple of 1st

Sign Fitzpatrick if Gailey still likes him, maybe Philly over pays us for the 6 for marriota. Take a bunch of picks not foles,unless jet coaches like him over Fitz. Then take Phillies 1st round pick (22?) And take a linemen, use later picks for best available. If Phillies first round next year is available, I'd take it. I would gamble if they draft Mariotta they will be an 8-10 win team.

foles over fitz is a no-brainer..............fitz is a hold the fort guy foles can be a franchise QB I believe.

I understand, but to me this isn't a no brainer. Foles was a td machine for Philly, so why are they so insistent on getting rid of him? That's strange. I rely on Gailey to have an opinion on a qb he's worked with, maybe Gailey wants nothing to do with Fitz.

I don't think he fit what kelly wants in a QB to be honest. Kelly wants a superfast offense so he needs a guy like mariotta instead........IMO

Yea, that would make sense, I don't know Phillies politics. In my head,I see how hard it is to have consistent success, and how hard it is to find an nfl qb. I just can't see kelly completely abandoning foles by trade to go all in on a qb that's never played in the nfl. How many guys look like a sure thing and really are great in college, that just can't foe out the nfl. It's a crap shoot, I would think if they are looking to switch over to marriota, they would at least want foles or Sanchez as a backup option. They know the system, and foles is a ton better than Sanchez.
