I loved Rex.
I loved Rex until they chose Holmes over Braylon. Its been all downhill ever since.
Compared to Toliet Bowles and Shithead Gase, he looks like Belichek
Haha. I said to keep him and get him a GOOD OC and a GM who will build a team towards Rexs play style. Guess what....Jets fans wanted the Coaches we had after. So seems like I have different ideas with a lot of Jets fans on coaching. Trade Darnold to Pats for McDaniels pre sign him to 10 year agreement. Also tie our GM to him for the same terms.
I wonder how we get out of the bind of not winning because we don't have good players and not being able to keep good players because we're not winning. One way might be to have a player's coach (like Rex) while we build up the squad and then can him in favour of the tougher guy who is capable of winning regularly with said squad.

Rex right now wouldnt work. Been out of football awhile. While I like Rex as a motivational Coach, he struggled on Offense a LITTLE. You would have to have a great OC and O Line -RB like the Titans with the 1st QB Drafted in Clemsons QB TL. Man how I would give anything to have Titans O Line -RB with Trevor L. at QB. Even make Rex look like a HERO! Build a Statue of Rex in front door of stadium. Bad as Jets have been since Rex left we should do that anyways...lmao
