Who’s Good With Us Being the Rams?

Two years ago, the Rams went all in for one season to win the Super Bowl. They beat brady 3 times that year and became the only other team besides brady to win a Super Bowl at home.

I’m just curious, how many guys here are ok if we go all in on Brett Favre Rodgers this year, we win one Super Bowl, then we go back to same ole jets the next year?

now, if brady comes back and plays for Miami, which I think is a fair possibility if Tua goes down, we could possibly duplicate the “beat brady 3 times” deal, but we can’t win the Super Bowl in our own stadium too.

I‘m not. Maybe if we get to beat brady 3 times and win the SB, maybe, but otherwise, no. I want to build a perennial contender like belichick

I’d like to build the dominate dynasty team also but that rarely happens. You have to have the perfect combination of things and even more importantly, you have to be lucky, patient and consistent. The Steelers are consistent in how they run their organization and they’ve been patient and lucky at the same time.

Only three head coaches in 40-50 years. Two franchise QBs and they always seem to build a dominant defense and a running game from hell. The Patriots lucked out with Tom Brady and they stole Belibitch from us and you see what they did together for twenty years. Look at the Chiefs now.

They’ll be in the running for the next 15-20 years, as long as Mahomes is there. No they’re head coach won’t be there that long but I’m sure they’ll find a suffocate replacement. Certain teams are able to make this happen for whatever reason while others struggle like hell to even be noticed.

So in our case, this is the route we may have to go to get another SB victory. Everything else they’ve tried hasn’t worked so why not this? They’ve tried this a few times with Brett Farve, Vinny T, Neil Odonell and Boomer Esiason and it didn’t work but they came close with Vinny T. So maybe this time …

Aaron Rodgers coming here and hopefully puts the Jets over the top and wins a Super Bowl in ‘23 season. That’s a dream come true for all Jet fans.
Going into ‘24, what will have changed from a roster point of view? If Rodgers is back?
Mosleys huge contract should be off the books. Garrett Wilson/Sauce/Hall will be on year 3. AVT year 4, hopefully Becton played well enough/healthy enough to resign.
QW should be resigned this year. Jermaine Johnson, Clemons in their 3rd year.
My point is, where is everyone going, why can’t the Jets field a playoff competitive team for the future?
Look at the Dolphins, they traded for T. Hill, Bradley Chubb and now Jalen Ramsey, where the fuck is all their money going?
The Jets biggest problem going forward is Rodgers actually saying yes and coming here, which, I feel, will/should be done by noon today.

Woody is too impatient and meddles too much for us to ever build a sustainable franchise.

I think most would accept a 1 year and done “if” we were to win it all. I’ve never seen the Jets in the SB no less win it (that was before my time). We actually had the 3rd youngest roster in 21 and 15 th last year.

Seen enough of those seasons, I’d like one where we win it all.
Have to be honest, don’t know how I’d react to the season following a championship, the only one I have seen I was 8….months old.
