Why do the Patriots continue to cheat, even post SpyGate??

It may be a bit early to conclude the NFL is ignoring this. The article is pretty new, I think. What do you think of zero Pats' fumbles at home in 2014?

I rank it being as statistically possible as alexander the great being at my house for dinner tonight.

ZERO fumbles at home.

They've definitely been cheating with ball deflation for years, probably since the day Belis**t arrived in Sucksboro

I understand it's cheating and how serious it is. All I'm saying is the league will never be able to prove this beyond a reasonable doubt so there won't be any real punishment. Until that happens in this or any other situation they cheat with, we are all talking out our asses here. Hopefully Bowles can get this team straight real soon where we start beating their asses consistently whether their cheating or not. Also I want them to get crushed in this SB. Not just beat but crushed. Probably won't happen but that's what I'm hoping for.

This isn't a trial in a federal court. They don't have to "prove it beyond a reasonable doubt" to fire a guy. This is just like any other corporation. Your boss doesn't have to have a trial to fire you. All he has to do is say" you are embarrassing my company", your fired. That's it.

The pressure in the balls was legal 1 hour before the game. At half time they were 2 pounds lighter psi. Only Brady and the Pats equipment manager had access to those balls. One of them deflated them. Period

That's all folks

Guess this is just one of those unwritten rules type things like baseball has a million of them. You know, one of those your just not supposed to do it and it goes against the nature if the game. In other words, cheating is ok but some cheating just isn't tolerated. Especially if you get caught!

They say this is a rule that we all know they have proof someone in the organization did it. Being that this is the case, the whole organization should get hammered in fines, draft picks and even tainted game or SB records but they most likely won't. They are sure enough acting like its a criminal offense that has to he proven behind a reasonable doubt and they have to find the specific person who did it.

As long as everyone sticks their story, the NFL and its investigators never will. So this is like a trail. If this was strictly a rule, then the NFL would have punished the organization in whatever way and we would have moved past this. Being that this is the Darling Patriots with Brady and Belibitch centered all around it, they will protect them as much as possible. So we are all talking out our asses here about this meaningless topic.

Yep

Fact is it's either Brady or a rouge equipment manager. LOL

Brady did it, or told the equipment manager to do it. No equipment manager that is sane is going to mess with a QB balls. (pun intended)

I'm gonna try and make some sense of this for you, and you'll want to read this post because I think I have it figured out, and it goes way beyond Belichick being a pathological cheater and finding his soul-mate in Tom Brady. Thats certainly part of it, but that doesn't even come close to explaining how two potential HOFers can continue to lie and cheat and behave as if the rules do not apply to them, essentially jeopardizing everything if indeed the rules did apply to them, and thats the real key to this thing.

That said, I'm going to give you an analogy that perfectly describes Belichick and Brady.

When I was a kid growing up in NYC there was a lot of MAFIA back in those days on the lower east-side, and thats back when the MAFIA was at the peak of its strength, before the next generation of coke-heads and snitches, combined with the determination of law enforcement, blew it all up.

Well back then there were always certain kids whose daddies were made members of the MAFIA and they acted as if the normal rules (be polite or risk getting punched in the face) didn't apply to them. They were always a little more arrogant and a little less hesitant to insult other kids.

But then there were the kids whose daddies were high level MAFIA figures; Bosses, Underbosses and Capo's, and those kids were usually the worst, impossible to be around, because they really felt bulletproof and were essentially the schoolyard bullies who knew there was zero chance of retribution.

There wasn't even the risk that someone might stand up to them. In that kind of neighborhood, in the 60's and 70's, everybody knew who their daddies were and that it was basically a death sentence if you did anything to hurt them, but the important thing is, they knew it too, and that emboldened them to be incorrigible, just the nastiest guys you could be around, even with guys who could twist them into a pretzel if daddy wasn't their daddy.

That explains Belichick & Brady to a tee, particularly Belichick. No normal person would continue to cheat after SpyGate, nor would any pathological cheater if he knew it could cost him his career and everything he has worked for, but SpyGate sent the opposite message to Belichick. When Goodell burned the evidence and essentially slapped him on the wrist, in deference to his BFF Bob Kraft, in Belichick's mind that told him he is bulletproof, that his football daddy (Bob Kraft) makes him invincible and untouchable, that emboldened him to become even more incorrigible ... and make no mistake about it, when he skates on DeflateGate too, and he will, that will make him even more incorrigible, again reenforcing the notion that so long as Bob Kraft and Roger Goodell are on this earth, he can break any rule he damn well pleases.

People might make a fuss about it, but ultimately he will go unharmed because his daddy is there to protect him.

Its that simple.

Chilling analogy. Nailed it. But back then ... every now and then, one of those guys would meet a tragic unfortunate ending. Some were "disappeared." Sometimes they would go to off to prison and years later they would reappear explaining that they were at college.

I don't hope that on these guys. All I hope is that one day someone will come clean and explain it all. The entire scope of it. I have always asked who is Ernie Adams and what does he do?

I've read "Spygate." Part of it lacks credibility IMO. But I just have a gut feeling that it all began after Belichick's first year in New England. I think they decided to "explore alternative methods" after that 1st year in New England. I think they really felt the urgency after Bledsoe went down. I think they thought they needed to survive.

Belichick walks out of the casino a big winner every time.

Note: Posting this twice because what more can I really about this topic then this.

This is crazy that people are focusing on this so much in a 30 something blowout game. Trust me I get it, it brings up the thought of how many other games did they possible do this in that they won by a TD or less. The game before against the Ravens would probably be the most blatant one if they did that but we will never know I guess. We all know the Pats are cheaters in one way or another but as long as they never get caught red handed enough for the commissioner or whomever to truly do something about it, why are really discussing this period. As long as Seattle beats them by 50 and hopefully they will, that is karma it itself.

As you said...

The Ravens game wasn't a 30-something blowout game. If one score was affected by ball pressure or any other illegal trickery, that game ends with a different outcome. Do we really believe this started with the Colts game?

That's why the score of the Colts game is really not pertinent. Trace it back and maybe the Pats don't even get home field advantage in the playoffs due to one or two more losses. And at some point, I think the 31 other owners in the game have to be tired of this and have to have at least as much influence combined over the league's actions as Kraft.
