There is nothing like playoff time. It is exceptionally exciting when your team actually holds home games for you to go to, but you need to root for other NY teams for that so we'll settle for other teams on TV.

The wildcard weekend often has some of the most contested games, but often, you just end up with the bye teams on Conference Championship Sunday.

This year, we get two division teams in. I always pull for them as we know them better than any of the other teams, after all we see them twice a year and at least once live. This year, it looks pretty much set I stone already but on any given sunday ...

Gotta figure that Matt Moore and the Dolphins have little chance in Pittsburgh, and with both teams hurting, the winner of the Texans-Raiders will end up in Foxboro next week. The Pitt-KC game might be interesting and either team could have a chance in Foxboro for the Conf. Champs. Noen of this is set in stone, of course and wouldn't it be fun if Miami did win or the Hous-Oak winner went on an improbable run?

The Super Bowl itself is rarely a good football watch. The 3 hr halftime show alone ruins the game along with the bye after Conf Champs week, for me the football season ends on Jan 22.

Too bad it's all about money now, wouldn't it be nice to just play the Championships in the home stadium of the top seed?

Somebody on the Packers will make a mental mistake and they will lose. If not, there will be an obvious blown call on a non-reviewable play that will lose the game for the Packers.

It looks like the Pats are a forgone conclusion in the AFC but I hope I'm wrong.

Only team that can possibly stop the Pats will be the Steeler. Other than that,
I see the Pats coasting in.

On the NFC side, only Seahawks in my opinion can stop the Pats and that's because they have a QB who can give the fits by escaping the pocket as well as a strong defense that can get to Brady
