Will a GM move up to two to nab Mayfield?

Do the Bills have the goods to move up? Would they want Mayfield in upstate New York?

Mikey T. certainly has the chops. Does he have the assets? Is Mayfield a good fit for the Phins?

Do they Cards have the guts to include Chandler Jones along with their #1 pick? It feels like Baker in 'Zona makes sense.

What if any of these scenarios play out? What's Plan B if Darnold and Mayfield are gone? I certainly don't want Josh Allen and am really nervous about Rosen. Too many concussions to worry about.

I still think the Jets are the only ones dumb enough. Take Barkley or Chubb if Darnold is gone or if they really wanted Mayfield and he is gone as well. Don't reach. Chubb would make this defense elite. Barkley would be best offensive player the Jets have had in many years.

I saw an article today speculating that a team could want to jump the Jets for Mayfield. But right now, Mayfield’s the flavor of the week. Everyone seems to be talking him up in the media. A few weeks ago it was Allen being the gem that Cleveland is salivating over, before that it was Rosen being the best QB in this class because he’s the best pure passer, before that it was all about Sam Darnold and the “Suck For Sam” campaign.

If a team wants to jump up and grab Mayfield at 1 or 2, have at it. They’re going to pay a ton to get a risky QB prospect. I’d be thrilled to get Darnold or Rosen if such a scenario played out anyway.

I agree with you. Every couple of weeks its this QB did that or that QB did this. You then hear that the Jets want Mayfield, next week its the Jets are close lipped on who their picking. All it is is the media's rumor mill. Same with the mock drafts. Kiper tells you he has reliable sources (could be Janitors) that he heard the Jets want Mayfield.He has no clue. he's just guessing.

There are at least three legit franchise QBs in this draft. None of the QBs are perfect, but all of them have strong assets. I have long thought that about this draft. And echoing what has been said here, I sense the Jets feel the same way if they thought they could trade up to #3 and get a QB they love. They wouldn't have dealt up to #3 if they only liked two QBs. They would have chipped in that first rounder for next year to get one of the two top spots.

So if Mayfield goes top two, the Jets will have either Darnold or Rosen available. If both Darnold and Rosen go, the Jets can choose between Mayfield and Allen. Three is a very, very good spot to be in.
