Will Levis or other rookie QBs

If this A-Rod thing doesn’t work is it or would it be time to start thinking about drafting another QB. Particularly one in the second round or further down the line??? Will this kid Will Levis even be there in the second or is he a first round type product? I personally think any QB they draft this year, even a undrafted one will be better than Wilson but that still doesn’t mean he’ll actually be ready to play any time soon!

I personally don’t trust any regime with drafting a QB anymore. Since Pennington, we’ve had crap here pretty much and Pennington couldn’t stay healthy, SO…

Maybe they can strike gold by drafting someone in the 5th-7th round that they’re not expecting truly anything from but they find that diamond in the ruff there.

I like Tanner McKee. Big, strong, tough. He can make all the throws. He can probably be had in the 3rd as well. Perfect guy to sit behind AR for a couple of Season's.

GB can't have him on their roster. JD knows this. Hopefully JD can just wait it out until after the draft and then he can give them a pick next year only. Draft a QB somewhere later and let him learn under Rodgers. And then just wait until June when the Packers end up cutting him.

Just have a backup plan is all I ask. The Jets have to draft a QB plain and simple. Problem is I'm pretty sure they still believe in the Paperboy and won't. Big mistake IMO. To get caught flat-footed once again with the most important position on Offense will lead to everyone getting fired.

Levis might be an option at 13. He is falling out of the top 10 in a lot of mocks and could slide. So the question is do you draft him at 13?

Damn shame it will probably take that kid two more years to even come close to getting it. While other QBs like Herbert and Burrow are off to the races in year one. Others may struggle abit as a rookie but you see true signs of improvement in year two. Us with Zach, we got nothing!

Regarding Zach, he's shell shocked, not untalented. But the questions are: How much time and resources does the team spend on fixing that? and Is it better to simply move on. Right now, the answer to the 2nd question is no. But next season, the answer may be different.

Very good points, can’t really argue that but a QB to get horribly worse then what he was last year is not good at all. This is not good!!!

My point was more generalized about qbs. But regarding Wilson, in early 2021, Wilson looked like he was going to work out. Then he got injured, came back, and played like a shell-shocked qb...not taking a lot of risks.
