We seen two veteran quarterbacks come in and dominate with this game plan... Now since the hiring of QB coach Beck he has talked LaFleur into dialing back the rigger of his play calling to allow the offense mainly the offensive line to grow within the game plan rather them trying to execute it perfectly from the jump...
There was no in between the quarterbacks and LaFleur and I am just assuming that Mr. LaFleur was stuck in his own way until another voice came in telling him it is so complicated that they can not get on the same page... Because of this, regardless of how healed Zach is after that gruesome shot he took, should he be handed the job back if he is lets say 80% healthy but is capable of playing against Buffalo?
We seen what both Mike White and Josh Johnson can do in this scheme and the players have rallied behind both guys, I understand that we drafted Zach to be that guy BUT, does he need to sit another week and come in a less stressful opponent in the Dolphins who are arguably struggling on both sides of the ball?
If not mistaken, Josh Johnson has been called up twice for games and that is it for him unless they sign him to the active roster possibly the reason they went out and got Joe Flacco as insurance... My opinion means spit, but I think he roll with the hot hand regardless of the off season idea of who they picked to lead this team.... If Mike is able to grip the ball, throw the ball then his command of this offense is evident, and having the rookie inserted into a high profile division match up is ridiculous... Yea I get it he has ten days to get ready but one hit if he is not fully healed he could be lost for the season... And possibly even longer, just because it was a strain but that strain could become a tear more easily now if he is not one hundred percent....
Be precautious?
Thrust him into action?
Let him sit another week behind Mike White who proved he is capable?
Let Mike White continue as long as he stays productive?
So many questions, what is your thoughts?
