OK, just googled the kid..

maccagnan hasn't come close to building up enough good will to draft a DE who's listed as being slightly bigger than lee..

Reddick's speed and athleticism might give him a greater shot at impacting the game as a 3-4 inside linebacker or a 4-3 WILL rather than trying to bulk up and play the edge. An ascending prospect with a high-end potential if he can continue to hone his craft...

put him inside or outside over the top of Mo or whomever lines up on the other end spot, would give us a dynamic edge rusher who can continually attack the quarterback... His stock raised through the roof at the combine with all the athleticism he displayed...

To say that I hope they pick the best player available is the obvious, smartest and logical answer of course but honestly we all know that the BOA available is going to be a defensive player at #6. It always just seems to work out that way for our team and I'm tired of the Jets continuously picking defensive players in the first round. The last offensive player they picked in the first, if I'm correct is Mark Sanchez and yes we all know that didn't work out but can we honestly sit here and say that the defensive players they picked since him has worked out?

Of course Darrelle Revis is a Hall of Famer to be and Williams appears to be a potential future Hall of Famer. Sheldon Richardson could be that, if he keeps his head and stayed motivated. Doesn't seem he can, same with Mo Wilkerson. Sorta frustrating seeing the Jets do this every year, the past several years but I guess it is what it is. It would be nice if this year the best player available was actually an offensive player like Leonard Fournette or Mike Williams for example. I'm not all that excited to watch this year's draft because I just know they will be picking a safety or cornerback or defensive end, and 300 pounder preferably. They just seem to love doing that!!!

Note: of course I'm hoping if they do an offensive player at #6, not only does he turn out to be worth it but a great one at that.

WR, RB or Hooker
Trade down & still get a couple of starters that get their options picked up no matter what grade they have or rankings are

I like Hooker as a talent. I'm not comfortable with his injury history. Same thing with Lattimore. We lived through enough of these kinds of players over the years, one year wonders, and one year wonders with injuries that we take very high in the draft and they bust. See - Dewayne Robertson and Milliner. Two colossal busts. Vernon Ghoulston, another one year wonder, colossal bust. I would like us to draft a player with a track record. Even Trubisky worries me for the same reason. Not questioning his talent, just his track record.

There are number of players that are "clean" that will be on the Board when the Jets pick in my opinion:

1. Watson
2. Howard
3. Maybe Fournette or Jamal Adams.
4. McCaffery is another guy I really like

They also trade back and take a guy like Conley, who has been a multiyear starter and can be an excellent corner in the NFL. There are in my opinion better options. I will be ok with Hooker, but concerned he will not hold up in the NFL. I'd be ok with Trubisky, but would prefer Watson. Howard, Fournette, Adams, McCaffery or Conley all would be very good picks in my opinion. the Jets can't afford to miss with this one...

The 49ers are looking at Trubisky now at #2. There's a chance that something out of the ordinary will happen here.

Lots of mis info by top teams like 9ers-Browns trying to panic teams like Jets GM into doing something completely stupid. Lets hope Jets stick to keep their place at 6th & get the best player on the board we need. Keep away from CB-TE-S which are higher risk picks in this years Draft. Lots of top D Linemen,LB,RB around Jets Pick at 6th. I really doubt teams ahead of Jets covet any QB's at 1-2 pick & bet they rather trade back in first round & get another pick by hoping teams like Jets GM is stupid giving up a 6th & 2nd round to move up. If I was top 2 teams I would try to get someone to give me a top 10 pick this year & more picks for a 2nd round QB thats now hyped to a first round pick. Next years Draft is better QB's & Jets at best win 3 games this year.

Big question this year Draft, How dumb is Mikey Mack & will he fall for it again? Because he is Jets GM I hope not, but after last year completely stupidity logic based on 1 pick (speed) & 2nd pick(Freshman year play) I question his scouting ability & common sense at all.

Lets hope Jets GM base his Drafting this year on their College play on the field & not by the Combine that all players train to do well in those events that didnt show in their play in 4 years of College. I dont pay any attention to Combine results & like Jets past GM's drafting Gholston because he looked good at Combine was stupid waste of Jets Pick.

I don't want them taking a QB at #6. As bad as I want a franchise QB, I'm not quite sure any of these QBs are #6 worthy. Drafting at #6 IMO, means your ready to be a day one starter and contribute on a shitty, good, excellent or great team. Not quite sure any of these QBs are worthy of that. I don't want them to draft a defensive player also, especially a 300 pound dline men. Unless he is HOFer and game changer, from day one and I still wouldn't want a 300 pounder. Don't we have enough of those already? So that leaves a skilled player and there doesn't seem to be a powerhouse oline men out there to get at #6.
