Woeful Jets run risk of stunting Wilson's development

Another Cimini horseshit theory. Why the fuck does anyone listen to this guy. He says we ruined Darnold. If so, he would still be ruined. Sam doesn’t look to ruined to me. And even if Zach continues to get hammered…. He wont be ruined either. JD just needs to get some quality OL in here next year and blow out McGovern, GVR and the OL coach. When Zach gets a quality line…..he will be just fine. I think everyone, including Saleh, overestimated the quality of the OL and skill guys. Next years draft will be the key…. EDGE 1, Offense …..rest of picks
Not making fun of you as yiu are right. But that could have been said the last two years.

Why did we draft captain Morgan I should have said why did they draft him in the 4th when we could have drafted a guy for the line

Hey BigMoe did you hear this one. "Next years draft will be key" man I think I heard that one was it 1971, or 82, or 88 or maybe it was 95, 2003. I forget

A fan stated

Michael Rastiello.

“All we hear is, ‘Give them time, give them time,’ ” Rastiello said, “and then after three years, ‘We’re going to rebuild again.’ We’re tired of it

next years our year !!!!!!!

Lmfao! Wished Jets had a BIG RB like Titans. I dream that Jets will get tall fast WRs that can catch bullet passes to them. But thats a dream that Jets had OLines and DLines like Titans with Tall WRs and Giant RB running over and carrying entire defenses down field. Huh? Oh dreaming of Jets being a smash mouth football team. Just a dream.

we didn't draft Big Ben or Brady to insert into a ball control offense for them to pick up 3rd and shorts to get us into the playoffs, as they had a championship team surrounding them.

let the kid throw 30 picks this year, but let him do it his way. it worked for countless QB's. Elway's, Aikman's, Testaverde's, Young's, and Favre's TD to Pick ratios were horrendous until (a.) they understood what they could not do, and (b.) a team was built around them to be able to win.

this garbage of "the chosen knight" who can finally pull Excalibur from the stone by inserting into the offense is nonsense. we have a bad team...let him grow...teach on the mistakes. I bet he has a ton of fun doing it, and i bet we will love seeing the incredible plays. it won't be so much fun watching the plethora of picks, but they'll subside!

Yeah honestly we are going to suck anyway, just let the kid go out there and sling it! He'll make mistakes and hopefully he will learn and get better. LF really needs to get the kid quick reads and throws and try to get him into a rhythm. His current Plan A/B/C right now all look the same and they all suck!!!

Hearing Saleh compliment LF and say "how much care and preparation" went into the play calling just makes me want to throw up :burp: no reason to sugar coat it and compliment VAST FAILURE! Call a fucking spade a spade and just say "We need to get better"

That's a pretty strong statement to say that the Jets ruined Darnold or any qb for that matter. The Jets got Sanchez injured by their mis-management and they definitely didn't ruin him. With that said, it's going to be a rough rookie season for Zach. Hopefully, he and the team will show signs of life in the second half of it.

Darnold is clearly not ruined. Jets did everything in their power to ruin him.

Love your enthusiasm and I hope your right! Trail by era I see, huh! I'm with you on that to a certain extent. I just don't want them leaving the kid out there to dry. Draw up the plays that work best for him and let him grow through those growing pains. If that's what their doing then fine, so be it. If not, the thought process has to change. I'm thinking that more play action and some RPOs will help him in his growth and buy him and his receivers more time to get open. Every second counts in the NFL. He has seconds and I mean literally 2-3 seconds at most to get that ball out his hands or he's toast.

No he's not Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen but he can run a few RPOs a game and run it 3-7 yards if need be to keep the chains moving. This isn't BYU where they can expect him to drop back every snap and he'll have 5-7 seconds to see the field. One problem with your theory and trust me I agree with you but we have to think about the rest of the team. A lot or at least a few veterans on this team that don't have that time to rebuild. They want to win and they want to do it now. Obviously the CS don't feel this way but if that means having him throw the ball a lot less to give us the best chance to win than that has to taken into consideration also.

it's all about him, 82!!! it's all about Zach!! if everything goes well, we have him for the next 15 years. By now, Douglas should have put 5 massive babies in front of him that would be there for 8 to 12 of Zach's years.

finish the line...build THE NEW YORK SKYSCRAPERS to put in front of Zach.
then worry about veterans who want to win.

This is a frustrating stat for Zach Wilson:

• 35.3% of his on-target throws under pressure have been dropped.

• Only 9.6% of his on-target throws in a clean pocket have been dropped.

Wilson has made some nice throws under pressure, but his receivers are doing him no favors.
