If i were a coach, a GM, or a scout, from what i have seen from him, i would love to work for him.
1.) once he gives you a job, he let's you do it, and pays for whoever & whatever you want.
2.) Although, he has hired miserably, he tries to give the fans what they want... Gase excluded, but in retrospect, is McCarthy that much better?
Woody finally lucked out... Gase was horrible, but he might have given us the greatest gift of our fandom by going all in on JD. Then, JD gave us Saleh, so Woody backed into the first responsible regime since Parcells (Rex and Tanny was smoke and mirrors with FA and a 2010 no cap season).

Woody's failing has been that he's been burned by so-called NFL advisors/experts on who to get to run the operation.....it's not like he's tried to force his choices on the draft room.....he's listened to Charlie Casserly who at one time was highly respected but seems to have been on a steep decline for quite some time. He's tried to get the right people by listening to other people and to date it hasn't worked. Does that make him a bad owner? I say no. Village Idiot? wellllllllllll
When you don’t know, it’s not a bad idea to listen to those who might know especially if their resume shows that knowledge. Can’t blame the man for trying especially when he puts his inheritance where his mouth is.

i'm not a big fan of woody or woody's brother but i'm at least hoping (against hope) for two things.. his brother's willingness to finally change the chain of command & letting the football guys do football things has rubbed off on him.. i do give credit to woody for keeping the chain of command in place because i firmly believe douglas knows what the hell he's doing.. that said, he needs to hit big with this much premium draft capital to work with.. i believe he will..
