A hit by a Jets player on Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe knocked him out of the game and put the backup, Tom Brady, in the game. The rest is history.
Wouldn't it be true justice if the Pats knocked Fitz out of the game (not wishing permanent injury) and let Petty take command for the next, say, ten years?
