This would be an excellent trade option. Problem is he is a safety and if Maye can stay healthy then we have two very good starters. So where would Fitzpatrick fit into this? If he can play CB at an elite level or at least at an above average level and he wants or doesn’t mind playing CB full time then he’ll yeah do it. Otherwise maybe they should just leave it alone. Dolphins want a first round pick and to give that up he has to be able to play at an above average to elite level at CB.

Agreed and if he can’t be just as good or better a CB then don’t even bother with it. Safety isn’t our issue, CB is.

In fact, Maye is a very good safety and showed his worth in the Bills game. He did drop and int that was right in his hands. He catches that, it’s probably a pick 6.

Rather have TO's because after the sack the Jets will just give up a 3rd and long. Then again getting TO's doesn't mean anything because we won't be able to score.
