Zac Stacy and KO & Punt Returners in general...

Am I the only one that can't understand why these guys are back returning kickoffs and punts? Yes.... kOR men are less important today than years past but Stacy is just slow and straight line-ish. Kerley is a fair catch waiting to happen. I've seen him waive the hand with a 10 yard gap between him and the nearest rusher when he caught it.

We used to have guys like Justin Miller and Leon Washington and even what's his face from USC. These guys actually had the ability to take one 100 yards if needed. They would cut the field down by an extra 10-15 yards most times as well.

These days it seems like it's either a touchback or we start at the 15

I see a team like Miami with Landry, and I wonder how much better our limited offense would be if we had someone like him who could put us on a short field once every couple of games.

I'd rather see Kerley fair catch then risk fumbling the ball on his way to a 5 yard return. The coaching staff may just want a guy back there that can secure the ball. I'm more concerned with our kick coverage, it changed the game against Philly and kept Miami around.

Agree on all points.

The Jets just don't have anyone they trust enough not to put the ball on the ground. it's a lot better to have a fair catch at the 15 yard line, then to drop a punt at the 15.

The punt coverage I don't understand. That's about sure tackling, and staying in your lanes.

Bobby April better be getting these guys on the same page soon, because your right, it's putting games in jeopardy.

Nah, don't think your missing much. Maybe the kid can come around, but size or not, I much prefer Kerley.
