Zach Even Looks Lost On The Bench

Sitting there in a daze with his ski cap, no kidding but he looks like "Bring your son to work day".
JD after signing Rodgers, had every right to look for a viable back up, not a demoted starter.
This should be Zach's last game as a Jet. Or Saleh's.

If Zach says, or anyone, "we have to do things better". I'll save my profanity for after the game.

I will keep saying this kids mentality is not where it needs to be for the NFL. he is a spoiled rich kid that has been handed everything and has not tailored his game to where he can be a dominate threat in any league. His knowledge of understanding pre snap reads, aligning his blockers to pick up blitzing players is so mundane that he is just a sitting duck in the pocket. Yes he can run the ball but is scared to get hit so he tends to sit and get belted.

Yes he can throw a pretty ball down the field but when you only have one receiver and a half of a tight end you are not going to be able to stretch the field to make those throws. We have two receiving options from the back field not named Cook. We can not line up with two or three tight ends and expect to run the ball. We can not allow Zach to check out of a run play to a pass play then he takes a sack because he is terrified to throw it.

He has taken a lot of hits. Time for a Neuro consult?
Maybe send Saleh too. He keeps starting Zach. Maybe it's insanity.
Albert Einstein supposedly said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result".
So. I guess starting him over and over IS insanity.

Can you imagine how 1 player and an Offensive line can ruin a GM and Coach.
Amazing how that goes. Stake it all on a guy that was not worth that pick. Ignoring the OL, especially their dependence on washed up Vets killed them. Anyway, hopefully this the last we've seen of Zach on any Field but the practice field.

I hope this will be the last we see of Zach, but I have a Gut feeling that JD and Salah will have him as our #2 QB next year while giving in to his 5th year option

There is only 1 team that could trade for Wilson and yes it will be to reunite with his Homer OC in LA if he doesn't get fired from the Rams after this wonderful offensive season they are having this year.

The one thing I will give Zach is he took a beating all year long. He does get my respect for that. Other than that, he’s a back up at best. A 3rd stringer in the making. A practice squad player actually. Boyle and Siemian are in real trouble with this oline. WOW!

Well Boyle understands this make shift OL won't give him ample time, so it is 1 read then check down. Except when Cook is in. Then Timmy is cooked.

Speaking of lost:

"I don't think I was scapegoated. Absolutely not," he said Tuesday, via ESPN. "You've got to look at the situation. We're not scoring touchdowns. Regardless of what I'm doing, my job as a quarterback is to help us score points. I can sit here and say I've had a bunch of growth and tremendous whatever this year, but if you're not scoring touchdowns, it doesn't matter. It really doesn't. And I get that."
