You’re ignoring many other aspects of this game. Including defense, special teams, and o-line play. In other words, everything.

I get it, though. The QB always takes the majority of the blame, warranted or not. It’s the easy way of explaining things.
If this beloved QB don’t throw 3 INTs we win this game . I don’t expect much from this kid, just don’t turn the freaking ball over . Period end of story . We were not world beaters the past few games but he didn’t turn the ball over .

I haven’t absolved Wilson of blame for yesterday. His turnovers were killers. But this team as a whole didn’t play well beyond the last few drives of the first half and into the entire second half. The special teams, playing so well this season, laid an egg yesterday. Easily their worst game. And the defense’s inability to get off the field on 3rd and long was atrocious. It was inexplicable how that kept happening after stuffing them on 1st and 2nd down. The o-line didn’t block well at all. They couldn’t run the ball, and Wilson was usually uncomfortable in the pocket, rolling out and avoiding the rush all day long. Not excuses. Facts.

Everyone wants to jump all over Wilson, but he had a lot company in this loss.

Everything you state here is proof that yesterday we were the same ole Jets. Total futility by the entire team in a game where we all expected to finally cut the hood off the hoodie.

Putrid to a man yesterday

Every team has a bad game here and there. If the Jets continue down this trajectory, I’ll hit the panic button. But this is one bad game after four straight wins.

My 5 win prediction is still alive
There isn’t one team on the remaining schedule that you can say oh the Jets win that game
( “0” )
if we lose every game from here out, the franchise has to be dismantled and an expansion team has to take it’s place, which i have wanted to happen for a long time

Joe Burrow 25-35 232 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 1 fumble lost.

Zach Wilson 20-41 355 yards, 2 TD’s, 3 INTS.

One QB is “under fire” after losing their game. The other is under zero pressure and still a great QB. Both teams lost. Just saying.

With all due respect, one went to the Super Bowl in his second year.

Anyone remember Marc Wilson, the former Raiders QB? He came from BYU and was highly touted. The Raiders persisted for a number of years, but Wilson acquired the nickname 'Bambi' because he was like a deer in the headlights when facing a pass rush.

I would like to agree with you here Brick and support Zach but I just can’t on this one. The Jets had that game under control and were clearly the better until that first dumbass interception. HE NEVER SHOULD HAVE THROWN THAT PASS! That was the end of the half and the Jets were successfully driving down to score 3 or 7 points. Patriots we’re hurting bad at that point and he gave the game back to them.

Now I will admit that the JFM penalty (that probably shouldn’t have been one) killed us also but the defense shouldn’t have even been in the position in the first place. Zach’s dumbass int put them there. Then the second half Zach was even worse. The game was still within reach and he couldn’t hold up his end of the bargain. Zach needs to make a few more plays a game now with Breece and AVT out now. It’s just that simple and it’s no getting around it.

Zach could not do it this past Sunday and he has 9 more games to make that up. I’m hoping he can do it but I’m not as confident on that as I would like to be!

the QB under "zero" pressure has a proven he can play consistently at a high level.. not debatable..

the other QB has 9 games to keep his job without legit competition coming for it..

yeah man, you do keep saying that..

why would be my question?? this is the 2nd time franklin-meyers this season willingly knocked the QB over after the throw because he felt like it..

what am I missing?!

I don’t feel that was a blatant hit. From what I saw and correct me if I’m wrong but he didn’t launch himself into him, throw his body weight on him, hit him above the shoulders or below the knee caps or slam him into the ground. His body momentum carried him into the QB. That’s unavoidable IMO! Maybe I should go look at it again and I’ll see something different. The other play your speaking of I don’t remember.

Anyway, Zach’s int, while they were driving down to score with less than 3:00 minutes left to end the 2nd quarter was the true killer IMO. Everything else followed from there. In the second half Zach could have made up for that and they still could of won the game but he couldn’t pull it off. No one is asking him to be Allen, Mahomes or Jackson, just make a few clutch plays here and there to help this team and he couldn’t do it.

He did it in the Steelers game. I’ll give him that but not this one. The other 3 wins he didn’t necessarily have to because the team carried him. As long as he didn’t turn it over they were ok and he did that. Plus he still had Breece and AVT! Well now it’s different, he has to do a little more and he failed at that this past Sunday. We’ll see what happens over the next 9 games. Hopefully he fixes this, I truly hope he does but this ain’t looking good.

Burrow’s stats don’t look very consistent to me.

So Zach will be forgiven if he turns the corner but has an occasional shitty game? That’s a receipt worth keeping.
