I MYSELF NEVER WANTING THE JETS TO DRAFT ZACH, I WANTED JUSTIN FIELDS AND OFCOURSE TREVOR LAWRENCE BUT I TRUST IN OUR CURRENT GM AND CS. ALSO AFTER WATCHING SOME CLIPS OF ZACH AND SEEING HIM LAST YEAR SHOW HIS TRUE POTENTIAL AND TALENT IN A FEW PLAYS, I CAN SEE WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM. HE JUST NEEDS TO STAY HEALTHY, FIRST AND FOREMOST AND PLAY UP TO HIS POTENTIAL AND TALENT LEVEL. HE IS SHOWING US HE HAS THE DRIVE AND DETERMINATINATION TO LEARN AND STUDY THE GAME TO BE THE BEST. I BELIEVE IN THE KID AND AM WISHING THE BEST FOR HIM. WE ALL SHOULD!!!

I also want Zach to succeed. I also know he has talent, but so far I just see an oft injured QB. Like I said, he has 14 games to show progress. Not flashes. Actual measurable progress. I don't want to hear excuses. If he can't do that, then QB needs to be considered.

He deserves what Darnold got (YOUR BOY). All rookie QBs deserve three years to evaluate them fairly. It’s a common sense thing if you ask me. No disrespect but if Zach has a bad year this year than the complaints should legitimately start. Even if this is the case he should still get that third year to redeem and prove himself and if he doesn’t, then move on!

I couldn’t stand Darnold after year three but I was still willing to give him that 4th year with this new regime. If that’s where they wanted to go with it. Especially being that we screwed up in winning to many games to draft Trevor Lawrence. Anyway, teams that give up on a first round QB after a year or two are morons. It’s just not financially or logically smart at all!

If you want to use Arizona as a example of a team they did it and it worked out you can’t really use that example. It was a new regime that took over and they wanted K. Murray. They wanted nothing to do with Rosen and with that, it is what it is! This Jets regimes comes in, wants and drafts Zach and you expect them to give up on him in a year or two???

my 2 cents is if wilson does bomb the rest of the season or gets hurt again it would not be smart not to consider your options, IMO.. because if wilson does bomb or get hurt again we will be in position once again to draft a QB near if not the top of the draft.. that & the word is the year's QB class is a good one..

The game with the Steelers may hinge on which team feels it has the most to prove. The Steelers are not exactly on anyone's short list of best defensive squads so we may not see much in the way of Zack sacks. Hopefully, someone in the Jets organization dug out the films of the first half of Super Bowl III and was struck by the efficacy of the quick button hook pass. Watching Zack run for his life toward the sideline isn't a pretty sight.

If Wilson doesn’t show and prove of being at least a decent QB and climbing to even better, than maybe they will feel that way if Woody puts the pressure on them. I don’t think he will but we’ll see. There’s been so much turnover with this team since Bill Parcells and even before him. Rex Ryan and Herm Edwards probably got the most years of any recent HC(s). It’s pretty obvious that the quick turnovers in regimes doesn’t work either. Gotta give this all some time!

Have to agree 100%. If Zach is stinking it up late in the Season and has shown Browning Nagle like play all season it is time to look at other options. As tough as it would be you would have to at least consider it.

All First round picks are 4 year with a 5th year team option. They don’t have to decide anything at the end of this year. If Zach stinks up the place then that certainly changes the conversation. But he will only be entering his 3rd year.
