Hey he signed the contract. He was sacked 6 times.
He was hit in general 10 times
He was pressured 14 times.
That's a pressure rate of over 50% on his dropbacks...
That's simply unacceptable. No QB will stand up to that punishment for long...
I agree with the first part & I hope the second part is true but they said that about darnold too.lol time will tell. Many think besides awful protection for Zach, he might have held the ball too long. For some, that habit could be a career-wrecker.
For Zach, it's his first game, he is a sharp one, he will overcome that.
Brains and heart cannot be coached. This guy has both!
there were a couple plays he might've been guilty of that - BUT in particular he went to throw and pulled it down - I'd like to say he made an un-Darnold like decision and ate it rather than force a throw that may have been picked. Sometimes the sack is the right outcome for a QB based on circumstances of the play. Many think besides awful protection for Zach, he might have held the ball too long. AgreeBrian Costello just wrote an article throwing some blame on Joe Douglas.
that's for damn sure. that may have been the worst o line performance I have seenHe was sacked 6 times.

I didn't really agree that he held the ball to long. from what I saw, he never had a chance to hold the ball for to longMany think besides awful protection for Zach, he might have held the ball too long. For some, that habit could be a career-wrecker.

lets not get too fussy here. this is the first gm to realize that we need an offensive line at all. can't we just be happy with thatAgree
All I've been hearing is how great JD is and how he built the o line
Looked like shit

he did address the OL. He said last one to the buffet table is a loser,Brian Costello just wrote an article throwing some blame on Joe Douglas. He did promise to address the line, they were still looking rag-tag.
No matter what, his honeymoon is over.
