This is my take on the 4 QB's

Allen #1 pick of the Cleveland Browns. Big Arm Big Bust. Potentially will turn out to be like Browning Nagle and become US Senator.

Darnold #2 pick of the Buffalo Bills. Good all-around QB. Potentially will turn out to be like Matthew Stafford and become ALL-PRO.

Mayfield #3 pick of the NY Jets. Take Charge QB. Potentially will turn out to be like Steve Young and become Hall of Famer.

Rosen # 5 pick be Denver Broncos. Oh Boy! Potentially will turn out to be like Jay Cutler and become know as Mr. Brittle.


I like all 4 QB's and I am starting to believe that Mac is in love with Darnold, Mayfield and Allen in that order. Right now I think Rosen is the odd man out. My reasons being: His commitment, Mora's statement, his injury history and his criticism of Trump.

AFA, I really hope you’re wrong. If we pass on Rosen and he’s as good as advertised....we are NEVER going to hear the end of it from the media. (BTW, I don’t think Rosen’s “F Trump” hat will have any bearing on the decision).

I think Mayfield is being pumped up way too much. Short guy with small hands who comes from a spread offense. This smells like bustville to me.

I'll say this, i was watching a OU game this past season,can't remember who against and cannot remember the announcers but one of the announcers stated that Mayfield reminded him a right handed Steve Young. FWIW

Should have bragged more about Black. Owned a night club (Batchelor's III) that was frequented with well known mafia and gamblers.. Retired once because he refused to sell his interest in the club. Namath had 4 things that made him a great QB in the eyes of a Jet fan. He had a quick release. Could read Defenses. Wait, this punk has been compared to Steve Young and Namath. I can't believe, from what I would consider intelligent people on this forum, actually think he is on that level. Unless all of you decided to getting together on a chat and said lets fuck with Tebow. Namath was from a different day, different breed of player. The Douchess of Oklahoma is just an arrogant millenial that was catered to and never disciplined for his many, many issues. Some will say what better way to lead a team of millennials with a millenial. I just can't believe he is being compared to some of the best QB's of all time. As great as he apparently is OU never won anything more than the Big 12. Never won either of the two playoff games. I can agree he had a great college career.

Mayfield is not by any means being compared to Joe Namath as a player. I am just pointing out that Namath had his bad points as a person. Look at Lawerence Taylor. He was a God at UNC. I heard from a UNC offensive lineman who played with Taylor. Taylor should have been put in prison for many years at what he did at UNC. Everything he did was swept under the carpet by UNC Coaches, Police and Deans. Again, I am not comparing him to Lawerence Taylor. The Steve Young comparison was done as a little joke.
