2018 NFL Draft Starts 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
There is time to continue the debate of who the Jets should take:
So the debate is still running around will they or won't they take Baker Mayfield...
As much as I like the so called leaks about a fractured front office pulling for Josh Rosen it makes me wonder if there is a disconnect happening or is it a unified front to drive the loyal Jets fans insane...
We need someone could can start day one even tho we are setup to allow the rookie to sit... Injuries happen and you have to ask yourself which one of the four can step in, at a minutes notice and be a capable backup turned starter in a matter of seconds, that is how fast it can happen...
So say to yourself which one of the four is now your top option, then who is your second, third and fourth of the top four...
I don't trust that Bridgewater is healthy enough to come back and get into football shape... Word is he is healthy enough to walk, but not run and far off from even considering getting into football shape which makes me to believe even tho this was a football political move on the Jets front office to attract the top tier players because they see that we are willing to give anyone a second chance at their dreams others see that and want to come and be a part of the solution of making green & white relevant again... Lets just say what I am hearing (not reading) has truth behind it then we are looking at a position with Josh McCown as the starter and both Hackenberg & Petty are no better than third string moving forward... But which one do they keep, which one do they try to trade to move up five to ten spots with?
Whomever we pick with the 3rd overall is going to be the immediate backup which puts him in the line of fire at a moments notice step in when McCown does some crazy shit and gets himself hurt...
So now who do you got?
