It wasn't cool. I guarantee you other QBs have said the same thing in the league - it's a common expression. It means, the blitz is taking you out of your reads and you're seeing things that aren't there in the scheme.

I think the Jets should be pissed, and say screw you to the NFL in the future. And, they should never play on MNF football again as far I'm concerned.

That aside - they have much bigger issues to solve than this.

If you watch Brady, you will see him duck, jump up in the pocket to avoid a hit with no one there. Once the clock in his head hits the danger time he reacts. Usually the ball is long gone before that and he's crying for a flag. But it's funny to see when he holds the ball longer than usual.

if Belichick drafted Sam, he gets 2 handfulls of rings but the Jets drafted him so he becomes some other teams back-up after 3 years. Just like brady would have if the Jets drafted him.

This is such a legit point. The Jets just seem like a franchise that can't get anything right, not after drafting Namath anyway. It's going to take an extraordinary talent to overcome the Jets jinx, especially at QB. Sam just may not be the one. I'm hoping and believe he is but he just may not be. Maybe there isn't one period for this organization. The Jets seem to take that special thing out of you. If the Jets would have drafted Brady or Kelly or Peyton or Elway or Marino or Russell or Rodgers or Mahomes, you know any of the first ballot or potential first ballot guys would they be who they are as Jets? I DOUBT IT SERIOUSLY!!!
