Gase should then get fired if and when they lose to the Dolphins. IMMEDIATELY!!!can't blame the group of players on this roster, but between the injuries and mono and all the other shit happening there is no continuity...
Darnold was never going to take the next step with Gase, and that is what I called way back when they hired this goof...
Defensively after the loss of Mosley, we lost any kind of stability... Adams is good but his own worst enemy... We paid for a corner to retire while he is active on the field for us but it is what it is...
wait next week when Miami destroys us, I am waiting for what Gase will say and how many of the players in this locker room will revolt...
All I know is this, it's going to take an absolute miracle to turn this around anytime soon! I don't care who is the HC, GM, Owner, QB or other players are, its going to take a miracle to fix this anytime soon!
He had the best QBR. Padded stat with screen and short passes.Over the last quarter of the 2018 season? Yes, he was the best statistically.
Mayfield was 10 times better against the Pats this afternoon, in bad weather than Darnold was against them. For anyone complaining about Darnold, Mayfield just pitched the ball into a Patriots defender's hands.

........and when the Jets let Sanchez's O-line deteriorate, so did he.Sanchez had a great Oline. And offensive playmakers. Big difference
the officials took care of that though, by throwing a flag every time he completed a third downMayfield was 10 times better against the Pats this afternoon, in bad weather than Darnold was against them.
If you go back and watch Darnold at USC, even his good year. His mechanics were terrible. He has reverted back to his old form. He could get away with it throwing to NFL WRs vs bad college D's. The constant pressure is rattling him.Folks like us and media analysts are starting to notice that Darnold's mechanics are in shambles. Looks like he's throwing everything off his back foot or flatfooted, rarely stepping into passes. Sure, some of this is attributable to pressure resulting from our joke of an O line. But even when he has time, Darnold is not stepping into throws. Maybe the "offensive guru" has a moment to notice and--God forbid--actually correct this disturbing trend?

He was far from the best QB over the last 4 games.
Has nothing to do with how he performed vs the Pats cover zero D that had Darnold's head spinning. He was able to find the open weapon and deliver accurate throws. Darnold couldn't.He also has 10 times better weapons.
Exactly, except Brady reads the D and his passes are 10-12 yards in the air vs 2-3. Also hits the open Reciever in stride not high, low behind him so they get big gains.Screens and short passes? In other words, what Brady does?
Spot on.game planning per opposing teams is Gase's problem... He has one direction and one playbook thinking it is universal to every team he plays against unfortunately it exposed the inexperience of Sam Darnold, also exposed the lack of technique that Darnold should have in year two... This is all on the coach, not the players...
if you design scheme to utilize the limited skill set of the players on the field they could at least slow down the opposing pass rush and give at least time for Sam to get rid of the ball properly then just tossing it up to whomever wants it...
I think Sack exchange feels a little like me and you know my feeling on brady. No not that I hate him. that he has from day 1 been in a system where he sees little if any pressure ever and this has allowed him to become the player he is. That and playing for 20 years like that.Exactly, except Brady reads the D and his passes are 10-12 yards in the air vs 2-3. Also hits the open Reciever in stride not high, low behind him so they get big gains.
Your a fool if you think Darnold is close to Brady's level
