You guys are brutally harsh on Darnold, and as I've said, you just can't evaluate him under these circumstances. If you've never played QB, you don't know what it's like to get rushed every play with no protection - of course your footwork is bad. Of course you're going to misread coverages because you have no time to recognize them. If you're getting coached poorly, you see the results too. If the scheme is bad, you see that too. Some of the turnovers are on Sam for sure, but taken in totality, the regression is not on him. It's on the coaching staff and porous o-line.
